i thought sandersons quote after seeing ascot and haydock at the weekend we can work round it, was a good quote and i think we were all surprised both cards started let alone finished.

hi jimnast, always thought sedgefield had more chance than wetherby and while i too am pleased they are giving it every chance i will frankly be pretty surprised if wetherby is on,never stopped for 2 hours now and no sign of it letting up.

many thanks intheknow. Will just have to wait and see, nothing worse than setting off at the crack of dawn and drive nearly 4 hours for nothing. Fingers crossed.

is it still light rain in leeds , wetherby ? because for the last two hours or so doncaster has been pounded with heavy rain and still is

ribero its meant to ease of around wetherby around 3pm then another batch around tea time, then dry overnight,

weather forecast is not too bad for FL so they might be okay depending on the current level of waterlogging. However, I'm in agreement with Ribero about Wetherby and they will do well to survive as no sign of todays rain stopping

What's you plan B adge if Wetherby succumbs ? I hope you are keeping your 'rep' informed given the prospect of a wasted journey from Rugby under his alter ego !!!!

You're diary is probably correct as also in the Racing Post pull out Chepstow is not down for that date, however on Chepstow site they are saying they are in talks with Channel four for coverage on that date.Keep up boy.

Sedgefield are very confident & so far today the bit of rain we've had,a gnat could have pissed more.
It WILL be on.

ribero has got to be the man to pass judgement there but as he's so pessimistic all the time if he says it will be off I still wouldn't give up hope.

democrat ,
it seems i won't be deciding until boxing day morning whether i head for wetherby or market rasen or even have a choice.
and yes that certainly puts roger's carefully laid plans up in smoke.

I live 9 miles from the Course (Wetherby). We have had light but steady rain all day. It's currently NOT raining but there is more forecast for tonight. Happy Christmas to one and all!

PS.. Tell Roger to stay at home Alan. Give the rest of us a chance!  Grin

yes , he makes a damn good living out of the game , too , johnny , when many can't it seems.
maybe the secret that we can learn from is that roger never logs in to any exchange and never ever has a back bet
