To say i'm not the happiest of campers today would be an uderstatement - Try to keep an open mind and take the rough with the smooth but I've had gout again for the last week and i could have ridden or jumped better than three of the four selections today.
Instrumentalist won at 4/1 but Tindaro 3rd at 5/2 let down the win part of the each-way double - made at least three bad mistakes in my opinion and would probably have won without them. King Of Windsor 7th 16/1 went off at 5/1 - whether it needs 10 furlongs or a better ride is debatable. She's Humble was 2nd at 20/1 - whether the new whip rules or the ride had something to do with it getting beat is again debatable. +1.20 points on the day advised stakes/prices December -4.45 points advised stakes/prices -0.23 points 1 point win level stakes BSP Sam |

Nearly a good start today - Greenhead High was 2nd at 16/1 - Wandering Lad 4th 33/1 was caught close home for 3rd - was still a chance of a decent profit going into the last - a place would have done but Adiamo Mio which went off at 8/1 could manage only 5th.

Quite an obvious one to start tomorrow - high up on most speed ratings and the race should pan out for it - would have preferred Mongan riding so i hope O'Neill proves me wrong - all being well i would expect it to go off 5/1 or less.

Cheers - somehow managed to make a small loss on Farnborough Breeze - i suppose sometimes you can think too much - would have been better with a small win and bigger place only bet at around 5/4 at the time.
There have been a few occasions lately where from a decent sample the win % has been relatively low and the place % has been really high hence the playing around with the place markets.
