^ He was put up as his nap on a thread a day before the race and won't back a horse til he sees them in the flesh. A shocking aftertiming injustice imo.

I finally feel like there is light at the end of the tunnel with laying greyhounds, after years of trying to come up with my own made system things are finally coming together and I feel alot more confident when laying these little bitches. Still a way to go but just checked my betting history and only lost one race out of the last 62, gotta be happy with that. Just in time for Christmas, let hope it continues :) Pr!ck. |

ProSniper must be a candidate for 'Most promising newcomer of 2014'......

And as soon as I checked the market I believed her to be overpriced(16/1) in a pretty open race. + I like the jock Carson(although wasn't entirely happy with him on this occasion) who has netted me plenty by booting home many good priced winners. There's many factors that make up an Ace bet for me... |

It was fifteen years ago but Johnny_Mustang can't resist the opportunity......
TheAnorak 18 Dec 14 20:08 Bit more than a couple of races, but yes, his first two career wins both came in claiming races in California in which he was entered with a price tag of $62,500. The first was a maiden claimer as a 2-y-old, the second in February 1999 as a 3-y-old and he only got that one on a disqualification. He ran four more times after that without winning before scoring at Churchill Downs. Johnny_Mustang 18 Dec 14 20:10 Great stuff Anorak. I was at Churchill that day and won a decent pot on him. |

I've backed both Cue Card and Dynaste, at 12/1. Fortunately, I have some money running, too; with Bayan obliging at 12/1 in Ladbroke. Same ante post bet has Boston Bob 7/1 in Lexus, and Mountainous 16/1 in Welsh National. Mountainous has a monster chance of doubling up in the Welsh National. His run last time just a trot round for fitness; and Lee in great form. |

The PDC is of a significantly higher quality now, but the BDO is underrated and always has been is my take. It always has been on this forum. Go back to 2003/4 when I thought the BDO was maybe a little stronger, everyone on here was of the opinion the PDC was some way better even then. There was a cross organisation tournament in Feb 2004 or 2005 in The Netherlands and I cleaned up backing the BDO players in every match that didn't involve Phil Taylor. That darts is so big nowadays is due to the PDC, Sky, Barry Hearn, Phil Taylor and Sid Waddell. The BDO didn't have the gumption and were badly letting the top players down. Saying that I personally prefer the atmoshpere at The Lakeside and at the end of the day we have 2 bodies both catering for different aspects of the sport and I think that actually its worked out well. ![]() |

New Year hasn't changed my luck although I did back Thomas Brown as a saver and laid off Champagne at odds on so not much damage so far. |
