I already have a super duper Ridgeback Flight 3 which is really tough, I ride it all the time and it never lets me down even when jumping over kerbs and stuff

I am also not fat, in fact I am very lean for my age at around 12%, just big and heavily muscled as I am a weight-train- a- holic and have been for 40 years

of course I know not to buy a thin wheeled racing bike

He just keeps giving.

PS - how anyone can back the likes of Anderson in set-play against a professional scrapper like Wade at such skinny odds (something like 1.06) when just 3-1 up in a best of 7 is utterly bewildering to me - that means Wade only has to break throw just ONCE to win the match!

Oh dear, a classic from Darts Forum

Think i placed that bet in the early 90s, funny thing is they did not phone through the bet, they either never noticed the "2" like me or took bets at that time.

think they may have taken bets like proper bookies because i had a large bet on Spectrum to win the Irish Guineas which they took without any phone calls.

A good 'un here. Posted today - nineteen years after the event.Plain

Probably true but still worth a mention, imo.

Cycling down that steep hill outside Wincanton racecourse after racing. Had won two grand and feeling pleased with myself. Pedalling much too fast. Road bends right, unable to brake in time, went up the bank to my left and simply took off. The bike and I flew through the air for ten or twenty yards through a stream of fast-moving cars and lorries travelling in both directions. Incredibly landed on two wheels and carried on as though nothing had happened.

And I can confirm your life really does flash before your eyes.

Well there you go, all systems can be changed..... relying on prices for a selection????????. I study most 8-10 horse races everyday and there are big edges  this way. The 3.05 at Galway 2.40 Redcar (7-horse race but the two at the top where miles clear on form) were the two I did in the shops, those two stuck out a mile.

1 - Well there you go
2 - Stuck out a mile

My two bets were/are Veda and Karakontie but the latter has a terrible draw. Damn it. I was going nap on Karakontie with a saver on Veda but now I think I will just split my stake. I cannot have Toronado or Anodin. I've never reall beena Toronado fan although I did back him inthe Queen Anne because it was a poor race and Anodin finished 2nd that day so I will go with these two 3 year olds where  i think the price is right.

Great ride in defeat - watch it again. I layed it because all it`s form was on good ground, but any other rider would have snuffed out any other chance earlier on. Ruby switched her off beautifully i thought.

Yes - stewarts - just one horse per race.

Rarely done a Jackpot bet since I managed 5 out of 6 winners - along with the, allegedly, Doped beaten Fav in the St Leger.

up to you what you can and can't see, Dynaste finished in front of SC in this last year and no reason he can't again

and, no offence, I'll take my judgement over yours every time

CC has it all to prove plus has a complete wannnkker of a jockey on board, he won me a small fortune last year as I was amazed he was available at 13+ when it was obvious he would trade much shorter in running

but at less than 4/1 he is no value this year for me

My particular reason for betting ante post is as follows :-
BRONZE ANGEL 33/1 for Cambridgeshire Handicap, have done
these type of bets since the early 1960s with some success,
sometimes have had non runners, but have taken that with
an amount of "what will be, will be", overall very successful.

SAGE, look at BRONZE ANGEL form when winning his first Cambridgeshire as a 3yo,
picked up an injury as a 4yo and did not start UNTIL that years Cambridgeshire,
ran down the field which could only be expected first time out, ran once more
and put away for winter after.
First show of everything back to normal was at Royal Ascot when running on 4th,
kept ticking over for 3rd attempt at Cambridgeshire, where he was lower in weight
when he won it as a 3yo, Laddies were laying bigger than anyone else at 33/1,
managed to get 36 on here once before betfair were laying less than laddies.
In most intances horses improve from 3 to 4 and then again from 4 to 5, so
in theory ANGEL was well in on the handicap, this is not an isolated incident
as it happens at infrequent interval, look at FUNFARE WAYNE form in AYR GOLD CUP.

I was just looking through a few foopball threads. It's worse than the golf forum. Aftertiming seems to be the
accepted mode of making a post. It's not even worth copying and pasting them - it won't embarrass anyone.

I think Fingal Bay is a cracking bet. Have backed him at 12s and 10s, and will go in again.

He owes me nothing as I had been backing him similarly early for the Pertemps in which he duly obliged.

Don't really like making money that way, but I could not resist a lay at 1.15. No novice chaser should ever be that price with fences still to jump. Completion rate first time out is only about 85%. Connections of the winner must be smiling as most of the runners were just schooling round at the back

followed by this, sick stuff

Particularly puke-inducing when they shamelessly start their own thread.....

I backed Baraboy but....

He's blatantly done the other horse purposely on the run in. I'm obviously delighted to be collecting but the rules are a joke when this goes unpunished daily.
