you obviously do as much study into reading peoples post as your punting

Aye. Emers out of Tipperary Cup but did say liked Curious Boy and said 10/1 Tynwald Rodney, each-way. Would like Riverside Pat to win Champion Stakes tonight but just fancied Raffa all along.

Sidarian Vega wins Champion Stakes. Good start combined with smart early pace clinched it, 29.64. Ballybough Mike clocked 29.47 in the last! Some fast times over 550yds Shelbourne this year. Track must be fast although rated normal. Let's hope it makes for a cracking 2015 Irish Derby, anyway

By:
Some flying starters in the first round of the Harolds Cross Puppy Oaks last night but Droopys Sambuca clearly has it on the clock. Just waiting to see if fair enough price now, otherwise will be a case of looking for an each-way option
Joint fav Ballymac Bonnie won the Corn Cuchulainn and Save The Don did very well in the Irish Derby trial stakes |

Now the Derby's over, the old thread's back!
![]() Shelbourne's 600yds Stake and gone against the obvious with Ballydoyle Honey and Laughil Duke. Both impressive winners Irish Derby night but drawn together and something could give. Couldn't not have a bet though, so gone with Samiya (chances if reproducing best Derby form and Vulturi (landed my NAP Derby final night and a monster when he puts it in.) - Both each-way In Mullingar's Sprint, again going against the obvious with Derby night winner Catherines Drico to side with 8/1 Crown Champ, just hoping for a decent run for my money here Good luck! |

It wasn't woody but you have ensured it is now.

clock smashed in 600 (hope they stopped it on the right line

Said before, something wrong with going allowances after too many electric 525yds runs. Now, you're not going to tell me Laughil Duke ran about 4 lengths quicker than Sparta Maestro, are you?
By:
Maths clearly not your forte
By:
We've had this before, 8 spots a length in this country. Point is, the going allowances are wrong. Always given as normal when even a fool can see track's on fire. Must have been +30 fast last night. Ie put a fast away Spsrta Maestro up against Laughil Duke and Balydoyle Honey and he wouldn't be 19 spots slower than them
By:
31:91
32:10 Whether using 7 spots or 8 spots a length neither comes to even 3L let alone 4L Well then stop boring us to tears and don't bother with Irish racing if it's such a problem to you, the track has been absolutely on fire the last 3 weeks, mainly since the Thursday night Minor Bound went around in 28:08, the going was nothing out of the ordinary in the previous weeks during the Derby Who knows how Sparta Maestro would get on against Duke and Honey? I don't imagine he would be near 3L slower but then he never clocked the 525y times Ballydoyle Honey has and she is every bit as strong as he was, there is nothing to tie their form in anyway as they raced years apart |
By:
Shelbourne always runs fast, it only ever runs slow 2-3 nights a year due to inclement weather
By:
Re-my maths. I had just got home in the early hours from clubbing. I made the difference 29 spots, not 19!
. Some excellent dogs in Ireland just now, but think their speed exaggerated slightly |

Irish St Leger, Limerick 550yds
3 against the field, 10/1 Rural Hawaii, 16/1 Peregrine Falcon (each-way) and 20/1 Barefoot Artist (each-way) Artist impressively beat Hawaii (very wide racer) Irish Derby night but the latter can do better. Form solid Peregrine reached the Irish Derby final so obviously a good competition dog Good luck! |
By:
Ballydoyle Honey deserved to beat Samiya but still haven't given up outight. Thought my other choice Vulturi unlucky to go out here. Forced to check run up, long way last still last turning for for but finished like a train and narrowly failed to snatch third
Laughil Duke worked wonders to qualify, seeing as he was halted at basically every manoeuvre. Stayed on in good style In a graded race, Tarsna Havana clocked 28.19 with Fortune declaring a brilliant run. Every run is with going about +50 to my estimations. A brilliant run, then another brilliant run etc the guy's clueless. And he must say place your bets early to avoid disappointment about 25 times per meeting! ![]() |

Irish St Leger. Betting-wise, little to choose between the top half dozen or so in the market. Don't think I'd really be rushing to swop my original trio Rural Hawaii, Peregrine Falcon or Barefoot Artist at this stage. Offshore Bound was powerful but not the most reliable and repeat debateable. Thought a great deal to like about Secreto and Save The Don, respected
By:
Was going to take the 20s Offshore Bound before th opening round but didn't play as decided to wait and see round 1. He should be going deep barring bad luck.
Secreto was very impressive leading around, thought he would actually go quicker but he done more than was needed. Rural Hawaii loves Limerick but i thought he was very very lucky not to get taken out on the bend, both he and Vega in 1 missed the kick and he was literally centimeters from being put over the hare rail, lack of seeded runners will suit but i do think it's hard from the outside down there if you're not coming away and leading. Peregrine Falcon i thought ran the bends pretty slowly, i never thought he would be beaten at any stage but didn't think he looked that easy around the track and he has been down there before. Cable Bay done it well, like Secreto thought he would go quicker when leading but it means nothing as we know he runs the place great when winning the Kirby. Save The Don showed some real nice pace down the back. The dog that impressed me most of all was Tyrur Tommy, his first time around and he made an absolute mess of the start and still ran Offshore Bound to 2 1/2L in a real good clock, Tommy showed good pace up, brilliant pace down the back and stayed on well. With the way the draw for round 2 has worked out i think he is a real good bet @ 14s. |
By:
Some very nice pups in that first round in Enniscorthy although whether the track was 40 slow is very debatable.
40 slow nearly equates to what is normal these days and normal is 20 -30 fast. |

Got 8/1 Samiya, each-way, antepost in the 600yds final at Shelbourne and topped up at 4/1 now. Good race in store
Hoping for some good results for antepost purposes in the Irish St Leger at Limerick |
By:
She is an awful price @ 4s, Duke and Cracker are the ones overpriced
By:
Are you sure PF. Think Samiya leads Honey again and bit of crowding behind plays into her hands, if reproducing another 32.19? Duke gotta do everything right to shake free and cant fancy Blenhiem at all
By:
600yds final. Samiya lost it at the start and carnage at the bend but many congratulations Brian and the lads with the ultra-smart Ballydoyle Honey
Irish St Leger. Secreto broke clear last but still easiest fastest of the night, railing well at the bend. Rural Hawaii seemed to run like a dog with a problem to me but my other two through. Really like this Peregrine Falcon and continues to churn out quality efforts, whilst Barefoot Artist is still in there and can do better. Thought Minor Bound did well to lead and win after not a good break |
By:
Just realised, got the place money Samiya so no real harm done

Irish St Leger, quarters
Still not sure how Country Legend made up that amount of ground on Peregrine Falcon but still wouldn't swop 16/1 Falcon, each-way. Secreto shot out, led but went backwards. Must have been feeling something Save The Don didn't trap as quickly as some others but railed at the bend, led and that was that in a fast 29.41secs. Saver Offshore Bound barely went through with his run but just did enough to edge out Tyrur Tommy. Was punching below the belt all the way round to the pick up, poor Tommy. Simply don't like dogs that only really spoil things Just happy 20/1 Barfoot Artist, each-way, chased home Skywalker Glory, although running nothing like he did Irish Derby night |
By:
Amazing you keep hammering a dog that has done nothing wrong in Limerick and has won every night yet don't bother to mention the only reason Barefoot Artist chased home Skywalker Rory was down to the fact Minor Bound destroyed Baltovin Leo on the 3rd bend
By:
Offshore filth and Minor chucked it, better off going 12 rounds with Mike Tyson!

Just highlights how genuine the dogs are in Ireland

Got biggest payer 16/1 Peregrine Falcon through to final for a very good payout. Sadly lost shade unlucky 4th Barefoot Artist but thought Save The Don a bit disappointing

By:
I don't know whether i be right of them but i price the Leger final way differently. I have the top and bottom way bigger than those off course and on the other side have the 3 and 4 way shorter than they do.
I really do not see how Skywalker Rory clears the 3 dogs inside him to the corner in the final, he broke well in the semi, well up on Tyrur Tommy and was only barely in front of him on the corner, had Tommy been inside him i don't know if Rory would have got around, this time he has Tommy, Vega and Falcon inside and i can't see how he clears them. Offshore Bound has ran brilliant all comp but i did not like how he ran in his semi final one bit and do wonder if he has had enough of the place, added to that it's hard to see him turning handy even from another great draw (by god he ha been charmed from round 2 onwards), even around the bottom bends in his semi final i thought he was disappointing as he looked like being a clear 3rd and thought he would be closing Tommy down quicker who was visibly fading. Jaytee Valencia i cannot see leading either with the pace up outside him and thus lies his chance, don't lead i don't see how he can win. Tyrur Tommy i thought when watching the vids should have won from where he turned the other night, i also thought he should have gone through on the inside on the 3rd bend and felt he was very disappointing and then he did not come home at all. However once again down there he did not come away and his chance lies in trapping well, his problem is the pace up in 3 and 4 and the fact that unlike in Shelbourne Sidarian Vega is holding his line up much better down there in Limerick, in saying all that i still would not want to lay any bigger Tommy as the off course books are. Peregrine Falcon for me should be clear favourite, if he comes away running again and goes around in front i do not think he will be beaten. I see him leading the 2 inside of him and think his biggest danger run up will be Sidarian Vega who trapped slower than Falcon the other night but showed better pace up to be on his shoulder on the corner. Off a level break it will be very interesting who goes around, i think Vega could just edge it and although he would not be home even if leading the price seems wrong to me. While i still want Tyrur Tommy to win (ante post) for me the value at the prices lies with Peregrine Falcon and Sidarian Vega, i think both are way too big. |

Big night at Limerick and also at Wimbledon, so streaming gonna take some hammering
Peregrine Falcon would be a very good personal payout for me and see Skywalker Rory as the main danger Good 600yds finale. Giving the vote to Morning Music Like Gaytime Hawk in the preceding race and earlier, Amazing Dude Fancy a few at Shelbourne. Dungill Rocket, Coran Sky, Droopys Latina and Heathlawn Tiger. Will be restricted to betting on the Tote, not good but no big bets. So, some quality dogs running tonight and hope to see some of them race Night Of Stars. Just hope we get some early prices through the night before. Don't want another farce like Irish Derby night, trying to bet at poor odds in euros at the track |

Do you ever stop fkin moaning about racing over here ??
Offshore Bound got a nasty cut on his foot last week and has had to be stitched up, was told to keep it quiet all week but sure it'll be reported now |
By:
Moaning? You must be rubbing off on me!
![]() |
By:
You never stop moaning about Irish racing, on course bookies prices, yes most the favs where considerably shorter on course Derby final night mainly due to the huge influx of mugs (huge majority from your side of the water) that head down blinded back every single fav. You say the prices where awful but there where dogs (e.g Wartimer) that where 7/2 off course yet returned 12/1, no mention of any of them.
By:
Blind fav backing? Laying 4 at about evs Wimbledon tonight. Anyway, still enjoy my trips for Irish racing, always a sense of occasion even if hardly ever get the prices they should be
By:
Did i mention you ??
And Romany Rouge is 7/4 off course already yet you're laying him about evens ?? By god i would love to live in your world |
By:
Diva will be at least 6/4 to lay on here later, Teddy and Dream could quite easily be 11/8-6/4 to lay too
By:
Rouge 5/4 with 365. Projected prices are not actual. Seems I'm right in saying laying them if theyre going to be pushed out anyway?
By:
Danger Skywalker Rory won easily. Paid to watch Limerick but couldn't even get a bet on the Tote. Such a big night too. Good these Irish tracks and bookies

Don't normally post here much anymore just look in occasionally because it is gone to sh1t here with woody talking to himself about his bets on every thread, who gives a sh1t if you've had £2 on this fav and £2 on the 2nd fav and after backing five dogs outright you will be £4 ahead if this dog wins on the competition. It's very tiresome stuff and hard to keep coming in reading one persons nauseating rubbish all the time. Anyway had to reply to this comment "Paid to watch Limerick but couldn't even get a bet on the Tote." Why or how so woody? I bet on the tote 10mins before the St Leger final so i could watch the stream and it all worked seamlessly. Problem was on your end maybe?
