the only thing is with Koepka is that he's clearly in the zone
if he comes out of the zone, makes a mistake then who knows but can't see where the mistake is coming from at the moment |
By:
at least tommy is rocking on, can only hope for a mistake by the golfing robot now.
By:
Tommy's just got to keep plugging away, 2 and a half days to go anything can happen. Not been a great front-runner in the States if all the expectation's on Brooks to close it out no bad thing.
By:
thing is you could get some kind of separation which could create a dynamic compared to most majors- could be very few players in it. that might suit tommy too.
By:
Kopeka only turns up for the majors
![]() You have to say a 4th major here is ridiculous when you consider he's only ever won like 4 or 5 events |
By:
You did warn us TB ,that's enough now Beemer.
By:
he does have a pulse. barely.
By:
Fair play LR ,you said he would have a bogey today.
By:
cheers frames. I think the tournament is very much alive, as long as Koepka doesn't bounce back to 12 under or something. a lot depends on what score he finishes on. if he remains on this score then it's still very much game on with Spieth/Fleetwood/Johnson/fowler/rose/matsu/scott potentially within striking distance.
as sontara suggested, something seems a bit daft about Koepka, who isn't that frequent a winner, dominating majors to this extent. I thought a few years ago when he was knocking on the door that he was a true class act and a future number one, I just wished that I had carried that thought on... |
By:
The way Scott's striking it maybe the course record is in danger.
By:
(Cue a 3 putt from 10 feet)
By:
please not Scotty.... yet
By:
scott another one of the greatest rounds in history that we've seen in the last 24 hours

By:
It's almost as if this isn't quite as ridiculously brutal as we were told it was.
By:
Adam just needs Beemer's finish for 60.
By:
yes TB but really only if you can consistently drive it 300 yards straight
By:
The diffiuclty has been over egged its a good test but 9/10 under won the play off events will probably be similar here
By:
Course is so receptive right now could see BK getting to 12/13 by the end of the round.
By:
Been a nice comeback by moli
By:
remember in the us open here in 2009 ricky barnes getting double digits under par but they all fell back
By:
Ricky Barnes- -a blast from the past! I remember when he'd be up the leaderboard on the tricky courses quite a lot
By:
moli to red figures - Tiger going in reverse
By:
We ain't dealing with Ricky Barnes this week. But I do hope somehow it can dry out a bit in time for a proper test on Sunday, if that's not too late.
By:
Oh great, more rain.
By:

By:

By:
Too good.
By:
They have no hope of stopping Koepka.
By:
Obviously some way to go, but back to back PGAs and US opens would be utterly amazing
By:
Looks like Brooks can onl stop himself Only one I could see challenging from here is DJ
By:
Tommy was 3 behind an hour ago ,probably 9 in a minute.
By:
Gone fave for US Open, still not for The Open though.
By:
He wasn't lying when he said his putting felt the best in a while - he has the pace looking so good today
By:
Yeah, 9 now frames
By:
1.46 on day 2!
By:
6 shot lead the biggest ever in a major after 36.Surprised at that ,Tiger must of started slowly when he won by 15.
By:
Jordan Spieth is 2nd place in a major after 36 holes and trading at 20.
By:
Outrageous.
