Be interesting to see how Kaymer plays after the meltdown last year. Certainly priced fairly enough given the track record here.

I've had a decent look and have a main team of 5 players, but I can't escape noticing some at stupid prices, so have two other teams lol. A overpriced fancied team and A thousand to one team, obviously smaller stakes than my main bets... Prefer Kaymer at the prices as against Rory in regards course form. If Spieth takes to course at first time of asking though, they won't know which way he went.

I just can't look past Spieth. After such a scintillating display in Hawaii he has the advantage of match fitness over Rory and others. And I just can't see what could trip him up on this course? It's not hard. And he's the best player in the field right now.
I actually think 5.8 on here is good value. |

course looks to be made for him, of course he might be on a jolly but he doesnt seem the type win , lose or draw it should be a cracking 4 days so really looking forward to it quite a coup for european tour to get so many big names so early in the season ! well done |

Iv also went ball deep on speith .big bet for me I'm usually small stakes big prices team of guys .
Team is speith Second team .fitzy Willet sully weisberger 3rd team Knox broberg Westwood ulhein warren Ramsay kako horsey bjerrgard Olsen pourteous stone .some crazy prices on some of last team .hoping to get a good trade in some which would cover the rest .as long as Rory don't run away with it .hoping speith is up for showing why he's the number one |

Comparing how Stenson and Speith played the last hole, you can see why one is a multiple major winner and the other is not. Its about bottle and nerve. Speith has it in spades. |

Good start for Rory though. Think he's deservedly fav here. Although you just cant help but feel Spieth will get better and better this week, and Rory could chuck in a bad one.

Rory putted the arse off it today. If he does that he will win. Never shown an ability to make five putts of more than 10ft every round before though.

Stenson is dodgy under pressure system. Look at how often he finishes second.
His shank on 16 at 2014 pga championship when he was in contention summed him up for me. |

Also agree about stenson not having bottle .i actually just think he's a poor putter but yea could be when under pressure he misses more .seems to play great irons in but not capitalise enough in so many tourneys .rory putted better than ever when head to head against osullivan before Christmas when he beat Willet in race to Dubai (can't mind name of tourney) .was best id seen from him putting wise in a long time .hope it don't continue all this week .hopefully speith will start holing everything like he can and Rory will feel the p

Sullivan is pure quality. Won't be long before he is a top 10 player competing at the very top all the time. His attitude and personality is his biggest asset. It's just a shame I couldn't back him this week given his previous poor course record and poor showing in South Africa.

i have had to put a bit on Bjorn at the price, normally he tends to hang around near the top when he gets there and has pulled off a few nice wins/trades because of that like in the Nedbank a few years ago.

The bottom line is that Spieth has putted abysmally for him. Despite his long game being terrible had he made only a couple of putts more each round he would still be in contention. Worst round of golf he will have played in 18 months.

spieth missed a few cuts last season, he isnt a machine yet,
maybe a bit of jet lag on top of the delay didnt help all part of learning ( for us as well as him ! ) |
