WHAT IS IT WITH THESE SPANISH and Abu Dhabi in 2018 ?????..... Appearance money all taken by Dustbin & Rors ?
Rahmbo tees off shortly in the wrong desert (in sunny California)
AND
Sergio in rain delayed Singapore (shares clubhouse lead with three others, while Oosthuizen is still on 16th with same score).

Rory and Dustbin missed loads of great chances today

just as soon as I say that he messes up- amazing jinxing ability I have
Aye, Rory back to normal.
Brains of a tortoise.
Get a pro caddie and listen to him. Just hammers an iron in to the one place you cannot got.
In the process of lobbing yet another one away with course management of a 12 year old.

this feels like fisher's week- don't like pieters body language and his putting is awful.
although tomorrow will be completely different conditions so this is still wide open.

pieters making a mess of the 18th. rory surely gone fav now.
U would think Rory shoots -5 tomorrow’ minimum,Fleetwood also
Great final day ahead

on pieters and mcilroy and worried that fleetwood will post a number
fisher looks unbeatable at the moment. boring player hits every fairway and green but effective.
bit like a morgue on here these days, like talking to yourself.

"different mcilroy this year, injury free, going to be different"
actually seems to be the same mcilroy missing tiddlers

going to need a special back 9 from rory to beat fisher who is doing little wrong.
typical drivel from the commentators: "to fisher, that will feel like a birdie"
after he makes a bogey on the par five.
after he makes a bogey on the par five.
. It was odds on to be a double bogey, so to Fisher it would feel like he ' saved ' a shot.
yeah but he's let in tommy fleetwood who is looking ominous, as i predicted at the start of the day.
weird hunchback/lion lookalike takes it i reckon.

Some performance from Tommy. Becoming quite a player. 2nd in a WGc and a near miss in the US Open last year to go with Euro POTY and now this - might be time to consider playing on the big boy tour full time.
Pretty impressive back nine for Fleetwood got to feel for Fisher third time he has come second in a short period of time each time he has been pipped by someone on a tear
Tommy has joined the PGA tour rhino so will be playing 15 events.
Two good weeks for Paisley thought he was excellent last sunday and another good week in the desert.

Yes very impressed with Paisley backing it up, good result from Levy-he looks fitter than previously and will be motivated by RC qualification
Tommy was awesome
Rory looks improved with the putter, definitely better with the short ones, but you have to convert on the back 9 and he never looked like holing anything when the pressure was on.
Great to have fields like this hopefully it will continue especially with it being a Ryder cup year.

Anyone shed a light on this DJ drift? very backable if nothing is wrong with him.
found any onfo yet Rhnio, i was all set to have DJ as my main bet this week, but i am slightly concerned with the slight drift, i am thinking it may just be because no main tipster has backed him but nice to be sure.
decided to keep the faith and have backed Dustin outright, depending on how he goes may add others but best case is he starts well and hangs around the lead all week.
good luck all

tempted to back stenson as well but might be one fav too many

Former OPEN Champion Louis Oosthuizen has a spring in his step right now after finally winning his home SA Open last month. Playing the Abu Dhabi HSBC Championship for the first time since 2011, OWGR #26 posted a 7-under-par 35-30=65 to finish the opening morning in T2, three back from Ireland's Shane Lowry (bogey-free career matching best 62 equalling Stenson's 2006 course record). A 2nd place in 2009 (with a closing 64) and 5th in 2010 from his previous 4 visits, Louis won the SA Open after an opening 62, so let's hope he cashes-in on this fast start too.
i have decided toadd Poulter before the second round as i think 25/1 isnt that bad with a view to trade as i fancy him to hang around the lead for a few days and also i dont thinl Lowry is gnna kick on too far fron his first round.
14's Martin Kaymer last 10 years here - 27,4,16,3,31,6,mc,WON,WON,2nd in 2009
LOOK OUT over your shoulder Louis, it's Koepka coming - on a back nine charge

Lowry 9 under so far for 3 of the par 3's ,must be a record.
To play 3 par threes 3 times and score 9 birdies is truly remarkable.
Hope he manages to birdie at least one of them tomorrow to get a 'full house'.

took a while for sugar shane to collapso but it eventually came!
Lowry what an absolutey pathetic bottling lump of blubber
another shocking putt from sterne, trying his hardest to lose
Sunday medal stuff here. Tell Poults it gets dark in an hour or two.
no way sterne holing that lol, gonna be tied in 2mins
hard to see how sterne this now, hes bricking himself and cant buy a putt
this is what has turned me off golf..hardly watch or get involved these days..just a succession of spineless pricks who can't get over the finishing line

dont fancy being on sterne having to pitch and putt for a playoff
don't really fancy either tbf but one of them's gotta win it
don't really fancy either tbf but one of them's gotta win it
think the odds are right, I have lowry fav aswell from here
wouldnt trust sterne to hole a 6 footer for a fiver
good approach tbf about the only green & fairway he's hit all round but the right time to do it
must be a massive price getting this inside 10 feet
for all they're sport mad the Saffers have got some right chokers in their ranks
for all they're sport mad the Saffers have got some right chokers in their ranks
the way this guy putts hes about a 20/1 shot to hole that
Sterne doesn't look that unhappy I suppose the huge cheque helps
not all that a deserved winner really ..bricks it bigtime when leading then when he's basically out of it,starts playing w/o the pressure as another dyed in the wool bottler opens the door for him

Only one bottler here - Sterne is 4 ahead with 7 to play and can't close it out when par in would be enough. Shane played the last 7 in 3 under -closing out with the necessary birdie.
More battling than bottling from Shane I would respectfully suggest.

AGREED.
LOWRY GETS THE JOB DONE...phew !
Lowry has held a 54-hole lead just three times, converting the first when memorably winning the Irish Open as an amateur in 2009 but finishing runner-up at the 2016 U.S. Open and T8 in the 2017 Turkish Airlines Open. The OWGR #75 slept-on-the-lead of three shots from Richard Sterne and five from third-placed Ian Poulter.
His remarkable performance on the par 3s made all the difference this week where he was 10-under on Nos. 7, 12 and 15 – all birdies the first three days - while he was level par for the other par 3, 4th hole (one bogey, one birdie today). 6 -under for the four par 5’s also helped and only eight bogeys all week (ok, 4 were today).
A STERN charge on the front nine would have rattled most - with 6 birdies, and suddenly Shane was behind by three – only a sweet birdie on 18 the sealed the deal for Lowry...just...phew!...was sh*ting myself & himself too !. "GOLF IS HARD".
