wouldn't put sullivan in the journeyman category at all.
He is only 28, he won 3 times last year including by 9 shots in portugal. I was impressed how he battled with Mcilroy in the dubai finale. He is 37th in the world and this year he will get in the wgcs and majors. He will probably make the ryder cup team. Sullivan is a player on an upwards trajectory - and one of the best players under 30 in europe. |

Think Poulter is a level above a journeyman. He has spent the last decade and more in the top 50 playing majors winning tournaments.
A journeyman for me is someone who keeps his card for a long period but wins rarely if at all. Jerry Kelly in America would be an example. Its not a bad life Kelly has earned over 25 million and will be eligible for the champions tour next year. |
