Frames, I remember a few years ago Broadhurst qualified for the US Open but declined because he already had his 40th birthday party planned!

Who do you fancy for the Open this year Knight Rider and where do you think the value lies?

By:
no need to reply until you have your bets placed

I don't know at the moment. I will have a proper look next week when the market has formed. In all honesty I can't say I have a great record in this event, it seems very unpredictable.
|
|
By:
best of luck with your picks....yes, very unpredictable because of luck of draw/weather/bad bounces on links courses/forced to play out sideways in cavernous bunkers etc etc

Todd Hamilton
Ben Curtis Darren Clarke leave well alone imo |

Winner W/O Woods market added. Would have thought we could do without

Very interested in a to make the cut market and how low Rory can be laid... or how high he can be backed

Rory ,no excuses,please,wind,rain ect
you were brought up in these conditions ![]() |

This Open looks like it could be won by an outsider. Woods not the same force; McIlroy no idea when he will fire, about 15 other players with a real chance.
So after not bothering with careful analysis it is Brett Rumford in a hack canter at 440s. ![]() |

By:
if Darren can win it,anyone can
|
|
By:
What you mean by that,he is a brilliant links player and more talented than most recent winners.

Darren is a quality links player, glad when he handled the pressure
I'm sure when tiger was starting out,he went to Darren asking about links tips |
|
By:
Looks like I have had my fill on the Gloverman at 550+. Contended before in the open and playing very well this year. A great price.
|
|
By:
there is no special way to play a links course, bit of a myth.

Westwood to win.

been thru the last 10 years of opens.els, woods seem to have done the best. paddy too. garcias record stands out to me tho. will be backing him. very impressive record. couple of missed cuts but plenty of top 5s and top 10 finishes. with scott and rose finally getting their first majors maybe the run will continue.

Woods wrote in a blog post at on his website. "I'm very confident that my left elbow strain won't be a problem and I will be able to hit all the shots I need to hit."

WW
EXCLUSIVE By DAVID FACEY LEE WESTWOOD is confident he can blow his Open rivals away to land his first Major title. Westy cannot wait to tee off at Muirfield on Thursday and declared: “It’s the most gorgeous links course I’ve seen. “And if the wind gets up to make it a proper test, it could be a memorable four days.” The Englishman missed the cut when The Open last visited the East Lothian course in 2002. But he said: “After one look this time, I felt certain I’d have a good week. It seems a great fit for my game. “In first practice I played lovely. “A lot of birdies and I felt comfortable. ![]() |

I would be more interested in players who are dismissive of their prospects.
|
|
By:
I think the journalist must of egged what he actually said because its way over confident
|
|
By:
He is ALWAYS over confident, amazing that he is the only person who will not accept how badly his putting lets the rest of his game down. Will not admit what is blatantly obvious to everyone else.

Apologies if this has been commented on elsewhere but does anyone happen to know how serious the flare up of Bjorn's neck injury is? Cheers.
