Don't see anyone offering 15/2 personally, I want to add Tiger but hope to get him in play slightly higher. What do you make of Rory's chances Heinz?

I think Wee Rory will revel in the company of Tiger and Adam. His putting needs a lot of work, but if he gets the long irons on track then hes current price is absolutely massive.
You could make a good case out for at least 50 here, which is the way it should be in an Open Championship. I'm thinking my £600 is more than enough to wager in this. ![]() |

Anyone else think that Jerry Kelly is a big price here ?
Tricky track, right up his street. Not that likely that he will go on and win the thing, but who knows ? I guess that's why he's over 800s. A decent trading opportunity, maybe. Well worth a few at his current price, IMO. |

I usually back guys that have shown some form throughout the year for the majors - but I have backed McIlroy and Snedeker, just hope they produce the golf we all know they are capable of doing. I suppose McIlroy has to hit form sooner rather than later. Here's hoping...

Agree he most likely won't win but i wouldn't be surprise if he's in the top 10 at some point. I posted earlier that I have a small bet on him too, great value if you ask me. |

Had a few quid on DL3 but he didn't get a ticket. Thought he would have went well here.
Ho hum. |

A preview of Merion wouldn't be complete without a mention of the famous wicker baskets that sit atop all 18 metal poles (not fiberglass sticks). Holes 1-9 feature red baskets with red-and-white-striped poles; the baskets on the inward nine are orange affixed to orange-and-white-striped poles. Should a golfer lodge an approach into a basket, he will be allowed to place the ball on the lip of the cup without penalty.
Haha...will he also be asked to water the flowers? |

Talking of showing your hand too early....
if anyone was considering Darren Clarke at 1000 for the outright, he is currently 310 for top 5, much better value imho. |

I just stick to the winner market. Rarely ever bother with any other markets.

I have won on David Lingermeth in the top 3 this season Ski,
had him at 530-1, so worth keeping an eye on it for occasional beauties like that. (mind you I hedged out at 5.1) |
|
By:
It would depend on the tournament itself, the big ones i may have a quick look around but the usual tournaments i don't bother.
|
|
By:
Ski if Simpson wins I'll be happy got him @75
. I'm relatively new to this but have got an idea of who the "regulars" are, the money that some people seem to have on here is crazy makes my account seem like nothing. HAA |
|
By:
Agreed ski, the liquidity is just not there on most of the tournaments.
|

By:
I'm sure there are some millionaires on here....not me
.....laying a couple of grand @ high odds would require enough to cover the exposure. I'm sure Eddie is one of them, maybe muppetmoans.... |
|
By:
Yeah I started few months back with £20 and I have built it up to over 2 grand but it's peanuts compared to some on here. I'd say you do alright Ski
I don't know Knight Rider but he seems to be a big player |
|
By:
I don't know if KR still here, nor frames, Eric could be a big player.....
£20 to £2k is jolly good....is that golf only? |

Golf and tennis Ski - the only two sports I gamble/trade on. Yeah I have seen eric post alot and people seem to listen to him, I think the hardest thing is discipline which I'm still learning.
|
|
By:
Tennis........yuck.....can't stand that stupid game.
|
|
By:
Yeah but it's good to gamble on - with only two possible outcomes whereas football etc have the draw. Golf is the best to trade on but I'm still learning from people on here all the time.
|
|
By:
I do football correct score sometimes, only the big matches.
|
|
By:
I love football as a sport but not from a gambling stand point nowadays, have you a team together for the US open here Ski?
|
|
By:
I'll post my update team after 11 pm tonight.....things are slowly coming together.....not a bigger team than HG.
|
|
By:
With football big matches, you can trade on the correct score before the off.......get some greens then bet accordingly to the score.....without going red.
