As I said Crows Eye not expecting a win but hoping for a nice trade on one of them. My main selections for event are earlier on thread.
From a trading point of view I might be mistaken but I believe as recently Knost was a pre event 1000 shot when he was right in mix in Heritage. Anyone who was on him at 1000 should have ended with a very nice week indeed. Anyway good luck for the event & enjoy! |

Q, I had a sneaky few quid on Lovemark, but I wouldn't bother to be honest, he has been struggling
By:
I have added Brian Gay - course is too long for him really but looks like he is playing himself into form and has good recent putting stats along with short iron play.

This tournament has a good look to it as i think there are some strange prices on the go.Bradley,Rose and Dufner are way too short for me out of the market leaders.Dufner is now 25s with the bookies which is just a ridiculous price. This course doesn't seem to favour any type of player in particular and the only other thing i'm factoring in this week along with the usual current and course form,is the possibility of some wind.So i'm going for the following...
Charley Hoffman-I don't know if it's the hideous hairdo or not but i think this guy is a better player than he's given credit for.Comfortable in the wind if it comes,he's coming in here on the back of some decent form and his form round this course is not too shabby either. Greg Chalmers-Has had a steady season so far and we all know what a good winter he had back in Oz.Like most Aussies he's comfortable in the wind, stays in the neighbouring state of Texas and his form around this course is top notch. Geoff Ogilvy-Might well be using this as a tune up for The Wells Fargo but i'm happy to take a chance on a guy of his quality at the prices.Despite what Steve Palmer wrote in The Racing Post in his Thursday preview of this event,i've no qualms about this guy in the wind as he's a two timer winner at Kapalua in Hawaii. John Rollins-A very up and down season so far for this quality ball striker.Seems to either finish top 20 or out with the washing,so here's hoping this is a going week. Also has some good form round here. Bob Estes-Comes from the next door state of Texas and has played well in his last two tournaments.Yes,he's your stereotypical plodder but that hasn't stopped similar types like Jason Bohn and Jerry Kelly winning here.Being a Texan he's another who could handle any potential wind. Vaughn Taylor-Having a decent consistent season which makes a pleasant change for a guy who's career has taken a nosedive since his Ryder Cup appearance in 2006.He's got some reasonable form around here and he's always got a chance with that putting stroke. Good luck to everyone having a bet... |

I can understand where most of you fellas are coming from when talking about dufners price but what price were you wanting/expecting? He is in very good form this year..almost won a major and has a T3 T7 T9th in his last 3 appearances here.

HARRY22 - speaking as one of Dufners greatest followers (largely through my pocket), I would have expected him to be around the 40/1 mark - which may have proved tempting. There is no doubt that he is a better player this year, and im sure he will win eventually but mid to late 20s represents no value IMO.
I think once he crosses the winning line he could be a multiple winner, but his weekend play leaves me wondering when that win will come. I will kick myself if he wins of course - but im not backing him at those odds regardless of his recent form and course form. |

One bet only this week, Webb Simpson.
By:
i have added reavie to my team .....
Maggert Goosen Reifers Mulroy Every Reavie Best Of Luck |
By:
He was 40/1 at harbour so i can see why people were expecting a similar price but he was out of it after round 1 and then played the next 2 round superbly...his form here has obviously convinced a fair few.

Well done to those that picked Duke out early.
Early days of course but I have Tringale and Rollins up there atm so a reasonable start from the early tee times ![]() |
By:
luke in the water already

Fantastic round from Big Ernie, especially as he was pm tee and there was a massive advantage for the early starters...really hope he can keep it going...one of the all time ''greats''.

Very early days off course but best first day I've had for a long time.
Of my 5 main selections three in Duke, Stroud & dufner are off to a flyer & the other 2 Every & Chalmers are also off to resonable starts. Even 2 of my 3 1000 shot 'tickles' are par or better in Duval & Peterson. Lets hope the week carries on in the same vain! |

Up and down 1st day
Goosen and Reavie look finished. Reifers-3 Maggert -1 Every E I added chopra at 250s after 8 holes thought that was a big price and heavy on els. |
By:
reasonably good first day for me stricker and els doing the business.
taken bradley at 95s, curtis @ 40s, webb-simpson 15s and more couch @ 1000s |
By:
^nothing on the par 5s(Unlike him) and the double bogey early..apart from that keegan hit it fairly decent..made nothing
By:
yep i agree expect him to put in a good one today
By:
Backed him all season but couldnt at 20/1..got on after the double bogey and small top up this morning...he just needs to get the putter going early and he could be back in this..hoping the early starters get what looked like the best conditions yesterday.
By:
Hard to go back to back having not won for so many years but curtis looks a reasonable price...not the worst method going with the form horse.
By:
Used some Tringale profits to green up and bring a few onside. Mark me down as against Els - I'll believe he can win an event with this type of field when he can put 4 good rounds together. I don't think he will
By:
Traded on Els, Dufner, Simpson and Stricker

By:
hey eric only 8 quid on available on couch now..i want to share in the glory on this player you seem adamant on winning soon
