mainly 5-13 range try and lay dogs as close to sp... problem is if they are close to sp then they are trying to win.... |

Thanks for the comments. Still a few to get past yet today but so far so good...I'm not complaining! "The new Maria"...high praise indeed. Not sure I am deserving or even close to taking that accolade, its still early days ! I see you did well earlier on the dogs well done....keep your discipline! |

Toma, are you picking as well "random" lays, just sticking to the "3 levels of stakes", or do you have a big knoweldge of the horse racing ?

I don't just pick random lays, I spend my mornings going through all the cards before I even logon to Betfair. I then go through the all the racs on betfair and lay my selections either at the prices on offer or if I don't like the price I put in lays at shorter odds. Then I go through them all again and if I am not matched on some I either delete them or put on my selections with a * an indicate that I am not yet matched at this price. I then put everything up on the Tipstar forum long before racing approx 1pm sit back and prey! |

Have just read the Maria thread from start to finish after seeing it posted up here. Amazing stuff!

Granny, the figures add up in the sense of the stakes/liablity/profit but just a concern to me that she never proves she is Laying the horses at such low prices. |

The staking plan is fine but the big question ? is the prices matched.
I would like to have seen betfair screenshots showing prices matched. If you look at the dai**y donke*y site you will see fantastic results but results are quoted at SP and not prices matched. If you factor in 15-20% increased payout on lays for betfair prices profits are reduced or wiped out. Regards trademate |

Trademate, I know this is the big question that everyone has been asking and Maria's original version didn't have the prices she was matched at until AFTER all the races.
This is why on my version I am showing the prices I am MATCHED at when I post at 1pm long before the first race everyday I do it. |
