Good evening

I've decided to have a small each wayer on one in the 3.15.

Equity Risk was available at 10/1 earlier but 9/1 is still there. Should run a good race I think. Happy

Good evening.

Well that was a hugely disappointing run today, but what can you do? Just have to get on with the next ones I suppose.

York  2.55  Clon Brulee  9/1

Newm  3.15  Bertiewhittle  10/1

Been a while since I've had a decent double, tomorrow would be nice!

Both of these look to have good chances, we shall see.Happy

Well, for what it's worth, here are my selections for tomorrow afternoon. I know I'm currently on the worst run I've had for some time. There's as big a contrast with my bets as there was with the weather this time last year!

Anyway, I still think I've got a couple of good ones for tomorrow, and a few others I'm not quite so sure about atm. But the two I'm definately backing are

Newm 1.50  Sam Sharp  5/1 ish

and

Newb  3.50  Alutiq   13/2 ish  Happy

3.50 Newbury .....a sprint with 24 runners on going that has FIRM being part of it! Odds look a bit too low to take that race on FBF......GL with that one. Would not even hazzard a "guess" for that raceTongue Out

1.50 also looks a fierce race....and your selection, being a 7 yo, may find the youngsters too hot to handle today on GTF going. 5-1 SP ( 6.6 BF odds) looks too short for that one too for a WIN.......a place bet might be the play on that race......Kitten On The Run looks a possible one to threaten to win.......but too many in with a shout to win....so odds maybe too short as well!!!Tongue Out

Looks like I ain't got the bottle to tackle those two races today.....but probably willSilly

Hope your two bolt in!!!! GL

Good evening,

Thanks DF, but when you're on a bad run, you're on a bad run, and you're right, the price was a bit short in the 3.50.

Maybe this Saturday might improve a bit.....

I've been waiting a year to back Don't Call Me back over 7f, so run or not, I've taken the 25/1 that is currently available.

Don't Call Me:  7f: 113312 Ascot 7f 312

I've ignored the overseas runs.

This horse is best over 7f and this race is ideal.  Happy

The only one I'm adding for tomorrow is Baccarat in the 3.30 at York. With a bit of selective reasoning in his record, looks to have a decent chance at odds of 10/1. Happy

Good evening.

I'm avoiding that garbage at Ascot this year and believe I have 3 winners for tomorrow. Suffice it to say, I am confident.

Hayd  2.20  Sennockian Star 6/1 ish

Hayd  2.55  Telescope  8/11 ish

Newm  3.35  Midnite  Angel  7/2

The prices aren't brilliant but hopefully they will justify support.Happy

Good evening

Have gone with Number Theory in the Ebor with the strong possibility of soft ground tomorrow.

The horse has yet to be out of the frame at 10f or more left handed with plenty of cut. Fingers crossed.

In the 2.55 at Goodwood, Magic City seems to have decent claims and is still 7/1.

Afters.

As I've been feeling a bit 'miffed' with the flat this year, I thought it was a good a time as any to have a look at one or two jumps races for the coming season.

My liking for one particular horse under specific circumstances is well documented on here, so although his participation in the King George is far from certain, I've decided to have some small bets on Menorah A/P this year, and am just hoping the owner/trainer see sense instead of running last years failure, Captain Chris.......we shall see. Mischief   At least 33/1 available and bits at bigger on here.  I've seen far far worse A/P bets over the years. Apart from his very obvious course form, he has also proved now that he gets the trip on tight tracks and will go on any ground, although on my figures the softer the better.

Good evening.

I have settled on doing 3 tomorrow, although I do like the look of Montridge in the 2.40 at Haydock, a bit short for me though.

I've banged on for ages about Don't Call Me (16/1) under specific circumstances, which he has again tomorrow in the 1.55 at Ascot. That last run isn't as bad as it looks and I think he will go well again in this smaller field.

In the Old Borough Cup up at Haydock due off at 3.15, I am expecting a good run from Platinum (10/1) and this is a good price because of the Prescott horse, which imo is way too short.

In the 3.30 at Ascot I see no reason why Special Meaning shouldn't be thereabouts again and 6/1 is a good price for this consistent horse. Happy

Hi FBF.....Hope you get some coming in today!

As I have started to use my system to rate some races to day.....hard to get energy up to do so....then the 1.55 race was one rated and it may be of interest to you.....

As you will note last years' winner is only 13th rated......but of course I may have got race "wrong"Tongue Out.......Going may well be against it today.

Favourite holds a fair chance to win .....but some of those just rated behind it might beat it ....who knows!!!!

Was a "good" result for first ratings for a while.....first 4 home in top 6 rated.

Unfortunately none of my LAYS for IR were matched.....probably due to posting ratings on hereDevilLaugh

They kept the GOING a secret til near off FBF......and just would not suit last years' winner....

Good evening.

Two for tomorrow with one being very strong I think.

In the 2.20 at Chester Balty Boys can go well again and anything around the 5/1 mark looks ok.

My Nap though, simply has to be Gregorian in the 3.15 at Doncaster, was 9/2 earlier, but I can see this going off favourite tomorrow and 4/1 or better should be taken. Happy

Morning.

Meant to put one up for the Ayr GC earlier in the week at 20/1 but forgot. FWIW it was Gabriels Lad. Price long gone on that one. However the other one I'm interested in now with a 'good' draw maybe, is Spinatrix. I've fancied both horses in the past and still think one of them can win a big one.Happy

Hi FBF.......tough day for getting a winner...so good luck with above ones.

As bit hungover ......head probably not up to pinning winners.....but will have a few guesses just to have something to watch racing.

2.40 - CM is a popular selection amongst Napsters in DIVISIONS comp .....It is drawn 7.....and right alongside it are 2 Ryan trained horses that may pose a threat in race.

TRAILBLAZE has ran many times over 7 furlongs and on going today it suit this one ....as obviously has strength to go another furlong. The other one has interesting Irish jockey booking.......but TRAILBLAZE at the odds may be an fair EW bet.

Time for a coffee!!!!

2.55 Saxo Jack won last 2 races ...so in form and relatively lightly raced ...so can see why these factors should give it a good chance on going ....May well win. GL with that one.

Trade Commissioner is the one that catches the eye ......May well be biggest danger in race if weight does not stop it! Chapter Seven may come to life today....but TC is my guess on this raceTongue Out

3.50  Market on here has most of high drawn horses as where winner might come from.

DODDS 2 both high drawn.....and many in DIVISIONS opting for last year Silver Cup winner MASS RALLY.....

Looks a night mare race to get winner in......I opted for HAWKEYETHENOOO with Fallon on it....but DRAW not a good one probably.....and age probably against it to .......The Fallon booking was what caught my eye.

Duke Of Firenze has PIVOTAL as sire and well drawn ....with lady jockey on and NOT FALLON.....who sometimes rides for STOUTE. This was an interesting factor re jockeys......Tongue Out.

Your last selection again appears to have a chance to win......but would back MASS RALLY as well....as likely one of two leads the other one .....but which won wins.....Hope you grab this one....but FALLON booking makes race interesting for me for GOLDIE!
