I already have a free bet on Irving for the Supreme at 1.30, but that hasn't stopped me looking for another day of race bet in that. I also have Melodic Rendezvous ap in the CH, although the ground is now a concern. Next Sensation will be going for the Grand Annual on Friday and not the Arkle as I'd hoped. I've backed that accordingly. Bets for Tuesday so far: 1.30 Josses Hill 16/1 generally 2.05 Rock On Ruby 9/2 gen 2.40 King Massini 33/1 with a few. If I find any more I like, I will post tonight or tom morning. |

I've replaced my nonner with Red Sherlock in the 1.30, this was my second choice for this race. I've also settled on Son Of Flicka in the 2.40 and this one has a decent record here and the ground is a plus. |

Looks like a bad meeting looming if I don't get my finger out! Was going really badly back in 2009 when out of the blue I landed most of that L15! I live in hope! 1.30 Wonderful Charm 2.05 Fingal Bay 2.40 Al Ferof No big prices, but hopefully things may turn out better today. I might do a couple of others later. |

Global Village 12/1 Levitate 12/1 A big ask of Levitate to do it again, but has a claimer on and conditions to suit again..........always runs a good race when things are right. Global Village should be thereabouts despite top weight and has had his 'prep run'. |

4.15 Sound Investment probably will find conditions today difficult to win on.......My 2 for 4.15 race would be - TURN OVER SIVOLA and PARSNIP PETE.............but real confidence in this race as looks far too difficult! GL with 4.15. |

Have had a small play ew on Don't Call Me at the generally available 33/1 and also some on the win at 40/1. This horse likes Ascot, is best over 7f and is back down to a winning mark. Can see him being thereabouts in the last strides. |

well done with your saver, high draw is favoured when its soft at ascot and gabriels lad had set a good time in the past at newmarket, when winning at class 2 level. those dark angels thrive on soft going. all the horses drawn high finished well.

Soviet Rock looks to have a decent chance in the 2.10 at Epsom, 5/1+ seems a good price. I've backed Anipa at a big e/w price, 40/1 with Corals in the Oaks, they are going a place for the first 4 atm. Marvellous looks the likely winner if getting the trip, but that is a big ???? and plenty short enough. Volume is also a danger. But 40/1 for Anipa is well worth a shot. |

In the 2.05, I am hopeful that Lightning Stride can take this. Won in a very good time lto and a reproduction of that or better willl see this one at least fighting out the finish, although tbh, I will be disappointed if he doesn't win. 6/1 is a good price. In the Derby at 4.00 I am sticking with True Story who was nowhere near his best lto, hopefully faster ground will see a better run this time. 11 and 12/1 available. |

Windsor 8.20 tonight. Have done Searchlight in this, has posted a couple of big speed figures from me for the grades it's been running in and a win can't be far away. I've also put Spring Fling with it for a r/f as this one also looks very strong and is a worthy fav.
I'm slowly getting a list of 'fast' horses together, which I haven't done in a long time. I haven't posted any winners on here yet (early days) but looking through the records of some of the ones I've listed, could have had 'a few' by now. We shall see......... I can't do any worse than I have been lately! |

The old speed figure notebook horses are starting to crop up a bit now, with a few entered over the coming days. They're not all entered in ideal races, but you never know. A fast horse is a fast horse at the end of the day and a good one is running tomorrow which I don't want to miss.

Sandown 2.55 Sleepy Sioux 25/1 I noted this horse for lower grade races, but shouldn't have to improve too much to have a shout in this, although it is a tough race. York 3.50 Eastern Impact 10/1 Ran a very fast time in it's last race and should have the beating of the favourite if repeating that kind of time again. Should run a big race. |
