Good evening.
I've already backed Teaforthree and Balthazar King for the National along with Mr Moonshine. African Gold runs in the 2.50 and is still available at 10/1 although I missed bigger earlier whilst on an appt. In the 3.25 Opening Batsman should go close 8/1, this one has a great record on tight tracks, although it only ran 6th here before. Hopefully that isn't significant. On another note, imo, a really stupid idea running Planet Of Sound on the Mildmay, when the race today was for the taking. ![]() |

Good evening.
It's that time of year again, where the racing is generally awful and best left alone for a bit. However, I have found one after looking at his form, that might have the tiniest of squeaks tomorrow in the 2.55 at Doncaster. At the time of writing Eagle Rock is 14/1 with *illiam *ill, I was hoping for a bit bigger, but it's not bad for a horse that has a 'slight' pattern in his form that gives him an e/w shout under circumstances that are reproduced tomorrow. Just a small bet for me though, until things get going a bit more on the flat. Just hoping to bump funds up really for the coming weeks. ![]() |

Good afternoon.
Just one bet for me tomorrow in the Craven. According to the betting I've got the race badly wrong, because as far as I'm concerned, Tawhid should pee all over the other 3 tomorrow. Into the bargain, the favourite just has to be the lay of the day! ![]() |

Good Morning
Not been the best run lately, but you have to keep chipping away. The wins will probably return in due course..... In the 2.05 Boonga Roogeta has been running well enough and should go close again. 10/1 ish In the sprint at 2.35, I gave Heeraat a big speed fig lto and a repeat of that will see a big run in this. 6/1 ish In the Guineas at 3.50, the more I look at this awful race, the more I think that Dawn Approach could win, but that price is not for me and I'm happy to have more on Moohaajim at 25/1 with the ground coming in his favour just in time. ![]() |

Hi FBF ......have you seen UD's post in cup comp thread?

Good evening.
Well, a change of luck today with a nice little winner at 10/1. Running again tomorrow? Big price, tough race. Two strong ones at Newmarket I think for tomorrow, should get good runs from both. 3.10 Hamza 13/2 PP 3.50 Hot Snap 11/4 Generally. ![]() |

Afters.
A bit late in the day, but in the end, couldn't resist a couple at Chester. In the 1.45, I just had to have a bit on the current fav, Quatuor, and this one is 4/1 which I think is a good price in this race. In the big race at 2.45, I'm going with last years winner Ile De Re which is 20/1 or bigger on betfair. No reason why it shouldn't go well again. I think the trip may be too much for CWF in this class. ![]() |
|
By:
Just a comment on 2.45 race......
One owner has more than 1 in race.... Address Unknown Very Good Day (FR) Good Morning Star (IRE) Kiama Bay (IRE) Going was SOFT last year....and this year Good To Firm (Watered)......so going may well be against Ile De Re this year? ADDRESS UNKNOWN is the interesting one for me ......but looks very open race.....and likely a close finish with 5/6 horses going towards finish line....so GL with race. WD on WINNER in 1.45 ![]() |
|
By:
I take your point about the ground, but tbh, the horse hasn't run enough on quicker ground to prove one way or the other whether or not it runs well on it. Could be that the quicker ground will help it carry the weight easier, and at that price I think it's worth a shot. Is still one of the better horses in the race imo.

Don't like to aftertime but I had another on Sunday which I forgot to post, so won't say anymore!
![]() Anyway, on to tomorrow. Just the one this time which runs in the first race. I've had a good look, and there are some good horses in this, but I've finally come down on the side of the favourite, Beaumonts Party, which is generally available at 5/1 and 11/2 with Badblokes. Not a bad price really, thought it may have been a bit shorter, and a good run is expected. ![]() |

Good evening.
A 3rd today, so not a disaster, but always seemed to be on the back foot, despite going down to 2.32 in running. Two good ones tomorrow I hope, although this is reflected in their market positions and prices. 1.45 Gandalak 7/2 generally 3.15 Storm Moon 5/1 with a few, 9/2 generally. ![]() |

Good evening.
Two for tomorrow, both at Ascot. In the 3.15 I have to go for the obvious favourite, Westwiththenight, which to me at least, is an obvious winner (hopefully) and although only 2/1 generally, should imvho be an even money chance. In the 3.50, I recently gave Haaf A Sixpence a very high speed figure for that win at Newbury, and a repeat of that should see a win here, or at the worst, a place. 12/1 seems decent enough. ![]() |

Good evening,
Well, stopped the rot last week with a half decent winner returned at 14/1. Can't promise anything this week, but you never know. Fingers crossed. Unfortunately, having backed the first one at 11/2, the price is now into 5/1, but still a good bet I think. Epsom 1.35 High Troja 5/1 Epsom 3.15 Ajjaadd 14/1 That'll do me for this week! ![]() |

GL with that one FBF.......If it was a HURDLE H/C over 2 miles then it probably would win !!!! not too sure it will win today ...but might grab a place
![]() Had a quick look at 3.15....but , with MJ having 4 in race and with going a bit in between, there were more reasons for leaving race alone for me re pinning the winner!!! Would have thought the in between going will make this race a cracker in the run in!!!! GOOD MORNING STAR has an unusual jockey booking.....whilst he is a very good sprint jockey....not too sure re a 2 miles and a bit race!!!! Probably will be the pace maker for other 2 entries by MJ. The obvious one for MJ seems to be ORIENTAL FOX.........with main jockey on it and appears to have been prepared for this race. May not be SOFT enough though for it to win...... SCATTER DICE also has an unusual jockey booking.........so this puts me off this one. PARTY LINE looks the other main shot for MJ.....and might grab a place. MUBARAZA appears to hold a strong chance against this field......and would be where my pin would land ![]() My guess on how they finish - MUBARAZA ORIENTAL FOX BLUE BAJAN NOBLE ALLAN BROCKWELL PARTY LINE GL with bets today. |

Good afternoon.
Have managed to have a look at a couple for tomorrow which I think look ok. At Sandown in the 2.40, Directorship returns to a course that seems to suit a bit more after last months poor showing at Ascot. Hopefully can go well from a good draw. 14/1 seems a bit on the big side to me. In the Old Newton Cup at Haydock, Luca Cumani knows the time of day in this race and Franciscan looks to have been prepped for this. 8/1 could look big tomorrow. Also at Sandown, Al Kazeem, Nargys and Biographer all seem to have good claims, whilst in the 'Oaks' at Haydock, Albasharah looks solid enough and the step up in trip should be a plus. ![]() |
