All the prices I post up are prices I put my initial lay in at. Obviously they are not all matched entirely at the requested price. The one you highlight was in fact matched @ 8.96 for total. As I am laying in differing price brackets it makes no difference if it was matched at 8.8 or 8.96.....It will still be layed for £24.61. just one question, why no lay on elusive hawk who u wanted to lay at 8.6 but not 5/2. there were others u layed but who shortened - do u have a factor which stops u laying if they shorten too much? to me it would have seemed a better proposition at the shorter price. cheers billy j |

As you can see: Prices below 3.5: lay to 1% of bank - backer's stake £63.55 Max liability £158.86 Prices from 3.6 to 5.5 lay to 0.8% of bank - backer's stake £50.84 Max liability £228.78 Prices from 5.6 to 7.4: lay to 0.6% of bank - backer's stake £38.13 Max liability £224.03 Prices from 7.5 to 11: lay to 0.4% of bank - backer's stake £25.42 Max liability £254.20 I have now included a price bracket of 0.8% between 3.6 to 5.5 as I thought having such a jump from 3.6 to 7.4 was too much and I was missing out on extra profit by not having an extra bracket for that price. It`s quite a big difference of about £12 per lay in that bracket - and that does account for quite a lot of my lays. I have been thinking about this for a while and after some analysis decided to include another tier. Over the long haul it should produce much better profits and hopefully in a few months time it will be making even more of an impact when the dif. is £120 per lay different ;-) |

I pulled EH @ 13.03. a long time before it reached 5/2. And the reason I pulled had nothing to do with the price. I had actually made a mistake in including it in my list. It was on the short list but didnt quite make it as a lay for me - although I would have loved to take it on @ 5/2. I do prefer them to shorten in general - Lets me lay them for more £££ and also doesnt hurt so much if they should happen to win. Also the shorteners dont win any more often than the drifters.....which is nice. |

I have decided to change the staking brackets once again, after including the 0.8 bracket I have been over the figures and decided that this staking method really needs 7 staking brackets. I have come to this conclusion as before I think I was losing a lot of potential income by only using 3 brackets as a lot of my lays are favourites or fairly low prices. New staking/price brackets as follows:

spot on m8 tank top a goood lay awful jumpin cud have won by a country mile if jumpin was sorted out done well to stay on it a presume u also new his jumpin woz pooor m8 Yes mate - prob one of the safest lays today.....I actually layed him for quite a bit more than the system stake.....never won, jumping sh*t, fallen couple of times etc. Couldnt see him winning today....how did u get on today mate?? |

havnt had a great day but havnt had bad im just guna concentrate on the 2% challenge for a while with few others but only starting today will be well on its way by next friday mate with a bit of luck lol
