Good Afternoon

Not the best comeback as I didn't get home untill just now and I didn't have time to post this morning.

I will post the selections for today just as a little interest. As there have already been 2 losers It's up to you whether or not to get stuck in, prob best to wait until tomorrow as u should be 2 pts up already.

I will not include todays results in the figures as it is a late post.

4.00 Dice

It certainly will Ifor - As of tomorrow. Also I have been having some fairly good success with a backing strategy I have been developing. I may also post these up too to make up for the poor performance over the past 8 or 9 days ;-)

Hi Ellis

Nope, late start today. I know, you have to be brave to lay Curley's but they can't all win can they :-)

Shame you have to go back to work mate :-(

Good Luck mate

I have been working on a backing strategy over the past few months which is going well, I may add the back bets on the end of this thread for interest :-)

Hi, borrowing a parking spot. Just did a "speed reading" of form at Sthl.

5 races in ten minutes....all lays:

GUGA the first one. Back to type the rest.
By:
SHAPESHIFTER
When: 07 Jul 09 18:13
Guga

Swiss Art

George Thisby

Whiteoak Lady (long)

Blue Jet

Usually spend 15 minutes finding my target races at each meeting then 20 per race.

Russian music hits 1.33 in-running.....Guga wins after hitting 50+

Nice start :(

Nope. Lays.

A total "counter exercise" (that, for whatever reason I have put on public display ???? ) to the usual effort on a card:

Scan the meeting to find two races that are in my comfort zone (distance / type)
Start going through the horses in the betting rating them on distance and going
Run race check not only looking for the lay but on horses that will support the lay
Look at three or four other boxes to check.

I find myself down to three plays at most on a day. Was curious if I could "speed rate" the horses for each race. What is definately lacking would be the race comparison that gives me good insight into the selection process.

You're doing well Shifter - you're on a 21/1 treble.

Unreal isn't it. If you tried to do it the other way around one would surely let you down :-(

Although at the prices the damage is not too bad - Just Martingale yourself out of trouble ;-)

Shape will you be around for NHL next season? As you seemed to stop posting in Haydens thread just as the playoffs started :(

Sorry for the hijack.
By:

When: 07 Jul 09 19:55
Sexual Harassment Panda, yes, love my NHL betting. Back next season.

For the play-offs, made a bit of green off of the first round then was busy for a couple of days and when I went to read the first few games, I could not get a handle on the markets of the next round.

So kept an eye on the games to prep for the next round and just couldn't read it so watched the remainder from the stands.

Sometimes better to pocket than even try to fight the current.

Tonight's exercise for me just shows how reliant I am on certain parts of my reads and back to my motto of late - less is more.
