If Age of Reason had his legs been tied together, blindfolded and ridden by John Prescott he couldn't have run any worse. Good start Steve

I know, what a run :-)

Just back from Crete after a weeks Hols hoping to recoup some of my holiday spending.

Unfortunately got hammered on these today and even more so where I was with my staking plan. :-(

Onwards and upwards but I need a few clean sheets in a row to get back todays losses. Over to you Steve! ;-)

Rough day today mate, was inevitable at some point though. As you say, only lending the backers the money ;)

Yeah - most losers I've ever layed in a day. Just a bad day, knew a bad day was coming after 4 decent day's.

Day's like this are always going to happen and it's how you deal with the bad times that separate the winner's from the loser's :-)

One thing I noticed today is that the prices I recorded in the morning before posting were almost a completely different set of prices to those that were returned.

I would say that the majority of lay prices today were returned between 50% and 100% bigger than the prices available at the time of posting!

This won't make a difference if the bet's are put on around the time of the post but the trouble is that the SP's are going to be a lot higher.

This is going to have a detrimental effect on people who use BSP and will distort the P+L figures.

Anyway, Onwards And Upwards :-)

Regards

Steve

Its the curse of Saturday racing Steve. No matter how tempting I never bet on horses on a Saturday - not sure why but horses that should have no chance, like Munset yesterday, seem to win. I suspect it is because prize money is often bigger so trainers actually try to win.
Still you are doing brilliantly - much better than me even though you do bet on Saturdays!

Hi Steve

I hope you've had a nice couple of days off, and I hope you haven't been listening to that** Blackhorse on EBA.

I'm sure you realise he's lying, manipulative (C U Next Tuesday). Don't even reply to the **.

Bad luck about Saturday. It has to happen from time to time.

Good luck for tomorrow, and keep us informed on the totty situation on the towpath!

Cheers

Evening all.

Well, I've been having a right mare my end. Tech issues again and major probs with some software of mine.

I'll hopefully be back up tomorrow but I'll pop in either way.

It's been far too hot for trading last couple of days anyway :-)

Cheers

Steve

p.s.

Nice one Ellis - Hope you are all doing well ;-)
