At this stage of the day I really get an urge to just watch the last 2 lays. And leave well alone.

I have seen the last lay of the day win too often ! :0

Steve, found that, atleast for me, that sometimes later races work against me because of changing conditions. Example a course rated as good and had a day of racing with lots of runners or weather conditions change or both, finds it changes the conditions.

As well, long day for jockeys so find latter races, if relying on the those steering, can twist against the call.

One survivors opinion

Well, with all that in mind, and a nice looking P+L acc. for today I think I too will bank todays takings.

Also, I have thought all day that we are due 1 loser today. And if it hasn't come in the last 7 lays, it must be due fairly soon.

:-)

ProPunta- very good results, but a bit disappointed you are not keen on laying last couple of selections - not very scientific - please don't succomb to the gamblers fallacy - oh know 8 heads, therefore must be a tail due!

there's a tail due.

Agree with Midas. One decision and selection has nothing to do with the next.

You are putting knowledge and study into each individual race. As long as your decision making is subject to the conditions of each race, then there is no relationship between the results.

Those who lay 3F every race, the same jockey, lay all the top weights, the same etc, are the ones that are playing "click to win" which build in losing into their plan are ones who "expect" the next one. They are perfect contestants for Deal Or No Deal.

I Know I know.....Please excuse me. It was my lame attemp at getting away with not laying the evening selections and going to the Pub.

You must make the most of this fine weather :-)

I'm expecting 1 loser today but should hopefully be in profit by the end of the day. I'm quietly hoping for another "Clean Sheet"

My thought for yesterday's racing certainly worked out. Just wish it could be like that everyday :-)

Managed to pull another £300 odd back yesterday so the bank is nearly back up to it's highest point to date. Shouldn't speak too soon though as I know what can/will happen.

Expecting 2 losers today after the last 2 day's results. Although i know the outcomes are not connected in any way, it's just how the cookie crumbles :-)

6/6 here ROI 16.62%.
I do so miss those days of getting up at 6.30am commuting to work in suit with briefcase - getting hasstled all day by staff, customers and bottom office for 54 hours aweek.
Those good old days - fond mammary's.
