Russian roulette - that's hilarious!!!
You scare the crap out of me Lex! I feel like I'm involved and wanna stop you from losing money! Good luck though! |
By:
Work out the losing run and then double it, then divide your bank by that number. Can't lose your money then.
google 'losing runs' and there's a few pages that explain how to do it. So don't worry about me, I've got it covered. ![]() |
By:
so is Lex saying laying horse favourites and martingaling losses is a genuine winning system here?
By:
If you read what I actually said....
By:
Not a "system".........................just RUSSIAN ROULETTE!
![]() ![]() |

do it the Derren Brown way, and there's no risk. Do anything the proper way and there's no risk. Hopefully.

If you read what I actually said....
remind me? in a nutshell |
By:
He said he's off to play Russian Roulette with Martin & Gale.
By:
"Derren uses a combination of illusion, suggestion, psychology, misdirection and showmanship."
But not stats or probability. I was expecting you to be referencing the horse racing one for a minute... |
By:
I like the one where he's at the dogs.
He keeps saying something like... "This is the winning dog!" It's SO funny! |
By:
Derren has just phoned me - the next favourite will lose. 14:50 Brighton
By:
He meant the 14:55 at Killarny
and to give Mrtin Gale his regards |
By:
Form an orderly queue at the payout counter please
![]() |
By:
Apparently, Telescope wont get a look in at 15:10 Leicester as it will be 8 out of 10 which is very rare but of course not impossible. But I shall be 'galing in any event. Watch me crash and burn. or not.
By:
ok on to the next renoirs lady 15:20 Brighton
By:
That'll do.
now, the next Sabaidee at 15:25 Killarney or what ever the fav is, should, if the stats are right, also lose. If not, back to Mr Gale, but if it does lose then it's best to stop for the day well up. ![]() |
By:
ok so Argaki lets the favs down, luckily, so the stats still hold up. 7/10 is rare enough to lay.
Stopping now, nicely up for the day with thanks to mr Gale the bookies and a few stats that you can use - just take the time to read the posts. |
By:
5 favs lay the next at curragh 15:15
By:
and 'somehow' it loses !
![]() |
By:
so are you still counting the favs ? McCoy should really win the next at Stratford 15:30 shouldnt he. He is evens against the field and the nearest is about 8/1. except that.... well you know the story.. (if he does I'm 'gailing)
By:
don't blame McCoy, blame the stats. I'm done for the day with a nice profit again.
![]() |
By:
Good on you Lex! I think you're the only person making a profit round here!
BUT... I'm worried for you that your system is doomed!!! I really need to get out more. I've found myself checking to see if you've posted any updates! Anyway, good luck! |
By:
No its not doomed - it will always work for as long as the bookies run racing. It is not about doubling up and its not in anyway similar to fixed odds games like roulette, if you understand that then you're most ways there. I'm guilty of chasing bets like most, and if I was honest, that is the main time that I lose. But this is not chasing its being systematic. You can follow it while doing your normal betting, just keep an eye on the results.
Just read and understand what I posted. and there is many more 'systems' that work just as reliably based on similar stats involving bookmaker's markets. I posted a safe staking system on horse racing forum that works, and I've copied here. Have fun. If possible look at past results for at least 500 events, or take the results you have and then find your longest losing runs see http://www.probabilitytheory.info/content/item/11-winning-and-losing-runs then whatever the losing run is, double it and divide your bank by that number. so a losing run of 6 = 12 divide a bank of £100 by 12 = £8.33 = 8.33 % Then after every loser increase your stake by the percentage you have worked out. When your bank is back in profit then make your stake the bank divided by the number again. Thing is; no one ever believes that there is a winning 'system' because generally they don't work because they're cyclic,- whilst you're winning you're really only a step away from the next losing run. True systems are biased - like roulette for the house, and horse racing for the bookie. So do what the bookie does, and watch the results and the stats. We cant alter the prices but we can alter our staking. |

By:
how many million have you made?
By:
Phew! That was some reply Lex!
Just out of interest, what would you do if you started Galing and it didn't go your way for 11+ races??? |
By:
Shep, do yourself a favour and just read what I wrote. I wouldnt be in a situation of having 11 + losers in the first place.
How any millions? about as many as you. stupid bouy. |
By:
But Lex, are you actually making money?
By:
I've read your posts several times and it seems to me that you're relying far too much on past results?
This is where I believe that things could turn sour? Lets say for example that in the last 10 years no more than 15 consecutive favourites have won. It could happen again in another 6 months, 12 months, or tomorrow even! And how will you cope if it does, that's my main concern??? I can't tell you the amount of hours I've spent running computer programs and playing about with numbers trying to make things work, and failed miserably! Short term, I could find a winning system in 5 minutes, but long term is another kettle of fish! By the way, I'm not saying you are wrong. This is a debate and I just wanna question your methods. Good luck! |
By:
Do I make money ? not as much as I would like but I'm very happy - but its also for the fun of it. Perhaps I should get out more.
Shep, you are missing the point I think. It works because it is not a random fixed odds game. It is bookie biased. You would never get into the situation that you're fearing. Also lets say it did, would you not by that point be playing with a bank of bookies money that has grown and been milked off many times? In any case using the odds strike rate and staking I suggested it would take a v. long time to do any real damage say 50% of your bank, by which time you would thinking ' this is a 1 in a million chance' and sit it out. Another asteroid may hit the Earth but that won't stop me going out for a walk. Common sense and all that - no? Las Vegas was built out of a desert with money based on a small bias. It takes very little to turn things in your favour - you don't need to get it back all at once (chasing or Martingailing) , just little by little not risking your bank, and as Einstein said compound interest is the most powerful force in the universe. |
By:
Lex, if what you claim to have discovered is real, you should be able to capitalise on it massively.
By:
Hi Lex! What you're doing seems more complex than what I thought it was.
Anyway, I hope it carries on working for you. Like you say, the chance of an asteroid hitting the Earth wouldn't stop you from going for a walk! Good luck! Keep us updated with your progress... |
By:
4/6 so far. start counting !
![]() |
By:
ok Lex, explain how you would keep your head above water if for arguments sake, you had the fav win every six races, so basically the run was, LLLLLWLLLLLWLLLLLWLLLLLW (you get the picture), but that all the favs were only priced at 1.50 or less.
By:
Just read this, but am a bit puzzled over how you ended the 18th well up after the payout on Sabaidee at Killarney. How was it done; you must have dropped at least 5 points on that one.
By:
bouy oh bouy. you serious ? for the millionth time, its not frigging roulette!
Al, the example was gailing, wasnt it. Making a point on how solid the stats are, n' that. yes ? honestly - what did your first brain cells die of ? ![]() ![]() if you dont get the basics at this level then youre never going to get it ! |
By:
No need to be insulting; I know that it is not a game of chance. You say that "it is not about doubling up", but this is not true is it? You rely upon sequences to fall as they have before and choose your entry point accordingly before using the method of retrieving your losses by "gailing" which I take to mean is doubling up in Martingale fashion. Your entry point is crucial of course and presumably the later the better.
By:
Lex,
Why aren't you making lots of money out of this strategy? |
By:
au contraire - how do you know that I'm not? its all relative.
Al, I've already answered that - it was an example. Besides, whatever you say I will have to defend myself wont I? Cant be arzed. Take it, leave it, shove up your bun, I dont care. Do A bit of leg work and just research it. The stats are solid, you prove I'm wrong. sorry lads - the rum and coke has kicked in. ![]() |
By:
No worries; I have no problem with the stats; I imagine that anyone who takes his punting seriously will be aware of them.
"now, the next Sabaidee at 15:25 Killarney or what ever the fav is, should, if the stats are right, also lose. If not, back to Mr Gale, but if it does lose then it's best to stop for the day well up." followed by "ok so Argaki lets the favs down, luckily, so the stats still hold up. 7/10 is rare enough to lay. Stopping now, nicely up for the day with thanks to mr Gale the bookies and a few stats that you can use - just take the time to read the posts." is an example? ![]() Good luck to you Lex; I think you're going to need it. |
