Who's going to score Arsenal's goals, they need to start Merino and Trossard, that's their most reliable strike forceCrazy

When Rice put that ball across late a proper goalscorer would have been on it, Gyokores was back on his heels nowhere near it.Crazy

I agree.  Doesn’t seem to have the natural instincts of a top striker.

Liverpool out to 33s for the title now Surprised

First 5 games - 15 points
Next 10 games - 8 points

A staggering drop off in form and lets be honest they were rather fortunate to win some of those early matches. Will Mr Slot survive ?

yes he will survive. you have to give him time to sort it out, and liverpool will. its only 3 defenders they need.

Yes i am also sure he will survive TTT, unless this form continues into the new year.

Many observers thought that the Reds had concentrated too much on adding yet more firepower up front in the summer rather than bolstering the defence and those chickens seem to have come home to roost. So who is to blame ? The Guehi debacle is well documented but why did they not have a Plan B ?
By:
TameTheTiger
When: 06 Dec 25 21:32
their plan b regarding the defence was that konate and van d would be just as good as last season, but they are clearly not

The weather's almost always bad in the UK though. Confused
I'm still sure Ars*nal will **** themselves in the coming months. We've been here countless times before.

No duffy, neither have the toffees Grin

No Ndiaye, Gueye or Dewsbury Hall for EFC either tomorrow, Branthwaite still not fit having not played yet this season. Grealish passed fit but has been feeling a hamstring lately, so that's a worry.  The squad is looking a bit bare.

Arsenal were 6 points infront (2 games in hand) of Man City (I believe) not so long ago, only 2 now with an inferior goal difference. Will they hold on this time or a repeat of past seasons, and capitulate?

Why do you think it wouldn't take that much when their only rivals for the title have spent half what Arteta has in 6 years in the space of 1yr/6 months and had much better squads when he arrived?

Quit harping on about spending FFS, there's literally nothing unusual about it. There are another 3 basket case clubs who've spent as much if not more and one of them is yours and your squad isn't worth half of what Arsenal's is.

You're wasting your time he is a broken record, spouting the same trite in the forum for years. Never ever gives Arsenal any credit, it's always down to the other team. Can't even bring himself to spell Arsenal's name correctly. I used to find it mildly amusing, but nowadays just irritating and boring. Sad, bitter and twisted, due to his own team inadequacies.
