Not a great season, was it. Spurs finished 2nd in 2016/17 with a higher points total and scored eleven more goals (and conceded fewer). Ars*nal won by default as the other contenders didn't even bother to show up. Anyway, they did what they needed to do so I guess congratulations are in order. Plain

They had a massive wobble but got back on track, and Citeh aint
the team they were.

Arsenal are a good team though, maybe manager had to
do it this way to get them over line.

In 16/17 more than half the sides in the league were a lot worse. 5th place was 75 points, this year it was 60. 15 point gap between 7th and 8th. 15 points between 7th and 18th this year.

Arsenal were a better side 2 years ago imo but this year, like Liverpool did twice, took advantage of the other 1/2 title rivals having a poor year. 85 points this year is still pretty impressive in the circumstances, despite their football being dull to watch.

that's a fair assessment Lurka, Arsenal scored 91 goals and got 89 points 2 years ago, only conceding 2 more goals in the process. The team 2 years ago deserved to win the league so I suppose things have evened out now
