Yeah, realistically not even Arsenal can throw this away now and this City team are a shell of their former selves.

I see Raheem Sterling has joined Feyenoord for the rest of the season.
Currently second in the Eredivisie but 17 points behind the leaders PSV.

At least he should get a game there i suppose.

Did he take a 80% pay cut?
By:
DixieDean60
When: 12 Feb 26 23:04
Not seen a mention of his wages.
Doubt Feyenoord could afford to pay him anything like the Prem clubs.
Mind you he would have got a fair old pay off when leaving Chelsea last month, so hardly in the poor house.

This is how I see the final table this season. Assuming Man City vs Arsenal is a draw. I think Man City have an easier set of fixtures including the home game to Arsenal. 1.44 is not a good price for Arsenal

1    Manchester City    38    27    6    5    79:31    48    87
2    Arsenal FC    38    26    9    3    71:26    45    87
3    Aston Villa    38    24    7    7    59:37    22    79

You have about the same confidence with Arsenal as I do with Spurs (staying up). Personally I feel City will still drop points and Arsenal will remain in the driving seat to make it a thrilling end to the campaign for neutrals, with Arsenal just about holding on, albeit nervously. Arsenal need these little dips to get them focused again. They should smash Wolves.

I have felt Arsenal have been the best team from
start of season. Citeh have made 2 excellent signings
in January window and might well have just sneaked up
to now match Arsenal.

Very much all to play for, 4 point lead is very handy.

Can't see either team getting into the high 80s and think the final difference will be five points or more. It'll either be a bottle job or a tail off to prioritise elsewhere once there's a likely unbridgeable gap.

Storm Alert's predictions do seem a tad optimistic, City winning 11 drawing 1 with 0 defeats, Arsenal winning 10 and losing 2, Villa winning 9, drawing 2 and only 1 defeat.

The recent form of all three of the above would indicate more points being dropped than that, especially Villa !

Still think Arsenal should do it and are worthy favourites.

The 4 point gap comes entirely from away results. City have dropped points in more than half of their away games.

I think it was silly for Arsenal to go deep in the EFL cup, would have been better to go out on pens to Palace before Xmas and avoid an extra 3 tough games.

It will prob go all the way with more swings than usual and may come down to how CL ties affect them with league games around them. The CL R16 2nd leg is 4-5 days before they meet in the EFL Final and the CL QF 2nd leg is 3-4 days before they meet in the league (although that is down for Sat 3pm and will be changed).

Mate, we have the squad depth to deal with going deep.
The issue is, so many players aren't performing currently.
What's happened to Odegaard, Saka, Eze & a couple of others?
That's the issue.

Not sure we have the squad depth to go deep in 4 comps. City are in the same boat currently but should get some players back for the run-in plus they've signed 2 of the best players in the league.

The fans and he players are feeding off the managers ultra tension, and performances being stifled by nervousness. They need a psychology guru in there as a soon as, before they implode
