A truly pathetic approach to the match and the penalty shoot out by the manager ; there must have been millions of fans aghast at the delay in bringing on Grealish and also the decision to bring on Saint Marcus and the other bloke with no opportunity to get involved before taking their penalties. As for Saka he’s got the brain of an amoeba and should not have been given the opportunity. Saint Gareth has let the country down yet again.

same as the Denmark game in leaving subs later than 90% of coaches would have - let alone a squad with more of the talent on the bench,
as throughout the tourny it's such a results based job that you often struggle to get any objectivity but felt to me is just reluctant to make the bold moves to go and win the game or at least change the momentum (that had completely swayed to Italy) so can have few complaints at the result. |
