All players should be made to watch 2 hours of recordings of Alan Shearer taking penalties . No

****footing around with stutter steps and side footing. Hit the ball with pace at a target 3/4 feet

from junction of post and crossbar. Even if the goalie guesses right he aint stopping it.

As for Southgate's selection of penalty takers it beggars belief. Two players who had barely kicked

a ball and a 19 year old with no experience of such an enormous responsibility.

Having said that, Italy were no better with their penalty taking.

I'm 74 years old and I could do better!

Southgate fcked it. 1-0 and clearly in charge as Italy struggled and he should have gone for the jugular in the second half. I've said it all month and I say it again - the guy is an idiot. He's betrayed English football!
