England are way above the other teams in that half of the draw. Bye into final imo. Sterling to me made a Saint if they win it. The other teams have an average of about three times the amount of shots on target/off target that's just ridiculous. Same old story with England, always difficult to beat (look when the defence was Neville, Ferdinand, Terry and Cole you couldn't ask for more) but they do so little up front. I feel a bit for Harry as whilst he has barely touched the ball even if you're the CF waiting for the ball to come to you and it doesn't come what can you do? So England have a Keeper, at least a back four plus tow more defensive midfielders who don't cross the halfway line which is very difficult to get through but that means for the whole of the other half of the field they have four players! Hence 0-0 1-0 1-0 and a massive 2-0 win over the Germans. Those shots stats really tell a tale. As storm alert points out what happens if they go one behind? |

Can't see England do anything but comprehensively beat Ukraine tonight. They are ravaged by injuries and will be absolutely shattered. England should not let them dictate the tempo of this match. England are choc full of running power so attack, defend high, tell Stones he isn't Beckenbauer, and they'll win well.
