Frank Connor has died RIP, great character in Scottish football, great friend of Rangers legend Big Jock Wallace, hope they have a nip together in a better place.

RIP
I cannot remember him as a player but did as as a Celtic assistant manager. I always thought he was at Celtic much longer and looked it up, saw about 20 odd images of him and he was smiling in everyone. |

Great win for StevieG today. Takes Villa up to 11th spot on GD.

I cannot remember him as a player but did as as a Celtic assistant manager. I always thought he was at Celtic much longer and looked it up, saw about 20 odd images of him and he was smiling in everyone. Most successful spell was probably as Raith Rovers manager, he resurrected a few lads careers, notably ex GER Gordon Dalziel, him and big JW formed a strange alliance due to their different allegiances in Old Firm but is it really strange ? Football people are football people first and foremost. Walter and Tam springs to mind, Walter done more for Tam than Martin O'Neil ever done. |

Celtic not so busy. Sun 3rd Rangers v Celtic SPL Thu 7th Braga v Rangers EL Sat 9th Celtic v St Johnstone SPL Sun 10th St Mirren v Rangers SPL Thu 14th Rangers v Braga EL Sun 17th Celtic v Rangers SC |

The first OF game no issues in preparing but the 2nd one has with Celtic the full week to prepare and Rangers only the 2 days free between games.

Been a bit of an earner so far in this European run.
Almost £10m in prize money to date and the revenue from 5 full houses matching that. Add on the revenues from 2 qualifiers (1 CL) and its well over £20m. |

I saw your tip and meant to bet it but forgot.
I wouldn't have had a lot on it but still a winner. Hope you picked up plenty. |

Rangers B team beat Celtic B 3-0 at Ibrox today in front of a 10,000 crowd in the Lowland league.
Rangers scored their first in 15 seconds and added another 2 in the 15th and 23rd minutes in a game they dominated from start to finish. |

A game of two halves right enough.
Not one shot on target in the first half with Tavernier even managing to put a penalty over the bar. We battered them in the second half and had 8 shots on target and got the two goals we needed. |
|
By:
Sorry MALAY, only had the two bets. WD on bagging the winner given you had 25 running against you.

Fantastic atmosphere created by a 40,000+ crowd at Ibrox yesterday for the Legends match.
Arveladze opened the scoring with Gazza netting the last goal with an unstoppable drive in the final minutes for the Ibrox Legends.Unfortunately the World Legends hit the net 3 times in between for a 3-2 victory. The match was organised to celebrate Rangers 150th anniversary. |

What a player Gazza was in his prime. |

Half-time and Rangers B team are leading leaders Bonnyrigg Rose 1-0 in the Lowlands league.
|
|
By:
Great chance for the visitors in 56 mins.
Through on goal one on one but the Rangers keeper Lewis Budinauckas was quick off his line to block. |
|
By:
61 minutes and the visitors get their equaliser from the penalty spot.
1-1 |
|
By:
PC down last night.
Rose took the 3 points with a 74th minute goal. Bonnyrigg Rose uncatchable in first place but its really tight in the race for second place. East Kilbride in second place with 67 points from 31 games played. Rangers in third place on GD with 64 points from 30 games. Celtic in fourth place also with 64 points from 30 games. |
|
By:
no idea how good ek or bonnyrigg are but im surprised rangers or celtic cant win that league or be first and second, but anyway congratulations to bonnyrig and ek

MALAY Due to European criteria for 'home' players (not sure how many) to be included in squads both Rangers and Celtic have pulled players from their B team squads to train with the senior players.
