I don't know much about other clubs.
As you only mentioned Rangers, Celtic, Aberdeen, Hearts, Hibs and Motherwell I would have thought the other clubs included Hamilton. ![]() ![]() ![]() |

Sad auld aka, spending hours and hours trawling through months of posts to fulfill his paranoid bigoted obsession, that anyone who has a go at sevco must of had their Confirmation. Well I'll tell who was a massive bhoyhood fan of Celtic ..
https://www.thescottishsun.co.uk/sport/football/2561643/steven-gerrard-celtic-fan-rangers-job-andy-lynch/ At the launch of his autobiography in 2016, ex-Celt Lynch said: “Gerrard’s a real Celtic man. "That took me by surprise when I met him at half-time during a Liverpool game at Stoke. “I had travelled up from London with then Liverpool owners Tom Hicks and George Gillett to be guests of the club. “Gerrard wasn’t playing, so at half-time he was introduced to me. “He was the one who brought up the subject of Celtic, and you could see he was pretty excited talking about it. “He said ‘That’s my team, that’s who I support’. I’m sure he’s got a great love for Liverpool and I’m not saying Celtic would have been a greater love. “But he was very adamant about his passion for Celtic, and said that whenever he gets opportunities he’d come up and see them, because that was his team when he was younger. “Then he told me he has a Celtic strip framed at home and it has ‘Lynch’ on the back of it. “I played in a few testimonials against Liverpool but it was before his time, and then it dawned on me. “I said to him ‘That’s my son’s shirt’. When Simon was at Celtic he played in Ronnie Moran’s testimonial at Anfield. “The fact we know where that Celtic jersey is says a lot.” ![]() ![]() |

Wee joeybhoy and malay both deny supporting celtic.
They must be embarrassed. Don't blame them, vile club. I see the celtic GB were out in force in Glasgow changing street names. Never went near Bath street though. ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() |

Rangers resumed training yesterday. Still no confirmation about the signing of Renato Tapia.
The 24 yo Peruvian internationalist with 53 caps confirmed hes leaving Feyenoord at the end of the month when his contract finishes. Said he knows where he wants to go but wouldn't say who the team was. Strong gifted player who plays central midfield but can also do a job at right back. Congrats to Bayern Munich for winning their league tonight. Won on the park, the only place to win it. |

Malay, if you don't mind me asking do you actually reside in Hamilton?

The return leg of this seasons round of 16 Europa league match with Bayern Leverkusen will take place in Germany on either the 5th or 6th of August.
The qualifying for next seasons Europa league will start for us in round 2 on the 17th of September. All qualifying rounds will be decided by one game only with lots drawn to see who gets home advantage. Expecting SG to announce the signing of another striker next week. The signing of a back-up keeper also on the horizon. |

Rumour has it yo might be getting Lyle Taylor from my club Charlton.

not presently, my accies fan upbringing comes from my mum who lived in whitehill as a child, my dads a celtic fan, but i was kind of told to stay away by my parents from old firm when growing up, thats why i support accies. i do know the greatest player ever and possibly scotland, Coop, (proper player) comes from the town, he was a Hillhouse man. god rest him. |

The mention of Davy Cooper reminds me of the time Judas joined Rangers, and Graeme Souness introduced him to the players, Davy said to him you shouldn't be here. I always admired him for it
|
|
By:
that story is a myth, I think there was a bit of banter and it was good natured. Obviously that kind of stuff might be unacceptable today even if it was a laugh. I doubt Davie and Jimmy Nicholl left because of the signing of judas.
Who knows ? I wasn't there, but I'd be shocked if it was true. I think posting that what you have done, does a disservice to Davie Cooper as a top professional and wonderful player, but each to their own. if that's what you are into, Good luck, enjoy Celtic doing 15 in a row. |

Rangers have announced that they've sold just over 32,000 STs so far.
The cash generated from that along with the £3m from Castore and the link-up with the energy company sees us in a decent financial situation. @ Lovegod what can you tell us about Lyle Taylor. Decent goal scoring record of recent. |
|
By:
Was well touted at the time, when I was living in Linwood. I'm not doing Davy a disservice at all, as you say a top professional, I always liked him. I think Souness wanted him out, but he definitely left too soon imo.

Peter Tobin, was he a season ticket holder or was it just the pedo priest? Or was he not a pedo, all the prosy's over 16.
Did you not sit beside him? Ffs, how many absolute sex pest pedos have been in the inner chamber of secrets? All hiding in plain site under a tri, fen*an disease, innit |
|
By:
G Hall,
Walters was playing out his skin at the time and there were only 2 subs allowed back then, maybe thats why Souness let him leave, maybe Davie Cooper just wanted to go and play football every week from the start, certainly showed he still had all the class in the world when getting a Scotland international recall and winning Cup with Motherwell. Ruud Gullit has him in greatest 11 he played against, that sums up how good he was. |

The reason I asked Malay is that I'm a bit of a mongrel, (Hamilton/Aberdeen) and my late father was from Hamilton and he also stayed in Whitehill and Burnbank. Coop was without doubt the best player to come out of Hamilton. What a tragic end and I'll never forget Charlie Nic walking into the church at his funeral with a bunch of flowers which were coloured red white and blue |

very sad SB, and I think Davie would have went on to be a top level coach, because that's what him and Charlie Nicholas were doing that day with kids when he died. We will never know now.
Good luck with you're punting mate. |

@ Lovegod what can you tell us about Lyle Taylor. Decent goal scoring record of recent. He's 30 and been around, he's had 15 clubs, played in Scotland, Kilmarnock, I think. He's big and can handle the physical stuff. Great for us last year, scored 25 goals, not just a goalscorer but works for the team all over the pitch. Scored 6 in 6 at the start of the season then got injured playing for Montserrat and missed three months of the season. Came back in the new year and scored another 5 or so. I liked him until he decided that he wouldn't play the 3 games we have in June as he might get injured and had a dream move lined up. Galatasaray also been mentioned. He lost a lot of respect if not all for the way he's gone about it. |

It was Partick Thistle he was with lovegod according to wiki.
Seems to have come on since that. Would probably be a good fit up here. The rumours in Scotland is that we're after Kemar Roolfe. Either would do tbh. Congrats to Liverpool, our manager be doing a jig. |
|
By:
Taylor was at Falkirk....
Sure he was..... |
|
By:
Missed that on wiki. Scored a few goal as well. That was 2012/13.
Was at Thistle in 2014 then again in 2015 after joining Scunthorpe. I can't remember him. |
|
By:
Just checked Taylors record and you're both correct and I was wrong about Kilmarnock.
2012/13 Falkirk 24 goals in 34 games. 2014 Partick 7 in 20. 1015 Partick 3 in 15. 2015/18 AFC Wimbledon 44 in 131 2018 Charlton 32 in 62. Kemar Roofe scored 28 in 110 at Leeds then they let him go to Anderlecht. |

Fantastic start to our Castore partnership with over 50,000 kits sold at £60 each in the first 24 hours.
Such was the interest shown that Castore have brought forward the launch of the kids version. Even after handing £3m over to Rangers as an advance payment Castore must be very happy at initial sales and with the away and 3rd strips due for launching in the coming months it looks like being a great deal for both them and us. ST sales also adding to the coffers with over 40,000 renewals already. All in all not a bad few days for the Gers. |

Cant see Morelos being at Ibrox for much longer.
Obviously looking for a move so I'd let him go. According to his agent he wants to go to Italy but I think Everton or Leicester more likely Mot sure of his value. Whatever it is,£10m/£12m according to the media, it would have been far more if he had kept his scoring rate up after the break last season. SG will use the cash to get a replacement and further back-up. |

Decent run out tonight with a closed door game at Murray Park against Hamilton.
Hamilton took the lead after 8 minutes with a well worked goal but Rangers equalised through new signing Calvin Bassey just before half-time. Secong half saw quite a few chances squandered and the woodwork hit three times before Morelos scored the winner from the penalty spot near the end. Highlights on Rangers TV. When asked about his goal Alfredo responded with Belllissimo. Maybe nothing. |
