Akabula do you think Rangers at 3 is a good bet for title this year?

Asking a supporter for betting advice on their own team is not recommended.

Logical thing to do is to ask a neutral like The Bairn.

As a die-hard neutral, I would say no, because what has changed at Sevco since lockdown? Not a lot. A large percentage of sevcovians wanted Gerrard OOT before the stoppage, most of his 'promising' signings have not delivered and he's turned the Colombian oddity to mush. Whenever Sevco have crawled to the top of the table, they've stayed there a matter of weeks before having an almighty collapse. Then of course there is the delightful omnipresent spectre of ADMINISTRATION hovering over Ibrox with the equally delightful Mike Ashley ready to snap them up for the obligatory £1. Happy. Not a good bet/odds IMO.

Watched Liverpool lift the cup last night, was thinking Gerrard must be pleased as punch both his favourite teams in the whole wide world won their respective leagues. Grin

I'm not looking for betting advice, just asking Akabula if he thought his team could win league this year, or he thought Celtic was still that little bid ahead. Do they still do the handicap coupons on the Scottish Premiership?

once again, speaking purely as a neutral, personally, with no strings attached, the [Gers, the teddy bears, the huns]call them what you like, win the first game and sellick will be shoiting themselves, the Gers should have had the league sown up at christmas last year, things will be different this season, they had the beating of their rivals on all their meetings last season and I think they will stop their rivals winning 9 1/2 in a row, although everyone knows it should only be 2 1/2 because Rangers didn't play in all the Premier league wins, and that fat cant won't be going up for any medals this year. gonna be a great season for neutrals. cheers.

A lot depends on recruitment and players moving on I assume Morelos is going?? and is hagi definitely staying, two players who will have a big impact on rangers season.

The Celtic squad is getting stale imo and needs freshening up. I think both teams have a midfield that is distinctly average at best, totally lacking in energy. If either team recruit one very good central midfielder, it could determine the outcome of the league. I felt Celtic missed a trick by letting John McGinn slip through their fingers.

Another factor is the absence of spectators at matches, it is bound to have an effect. Rangers are 3/1, I would make them a 7/4 chance, but I don't like those type of bets tying money up for 9 months, but everyone to their own, anyway good to see football returning.

Hail Hail.

Never been 3/1 with bookies. 7/4.

2.88 on here.

I think it will be more competitive and not saying they can`t win it, but there are better 7/4 shots about.

Obvious question mark over Morelos staying but why would you think Hagi might be leaving?

I see SG has signed Nigerian 32 yo Leon Balogun after his contract had ended at Wigan.
Been signed on a one year deal. Hopefully a striker will be announced soon.
Was talk of Lyndon Dykes of Livingston but at a £2m asking price I think SG will look elsewhere.

Some sevco fans seem to have vert short memories regarding their teams ability before covid saved them and their manager
from slipping further away from Celtic. As a neutral 1/2 Celtic is an absolute gift. After the winter break Celtic just upped it another gear
and went into a blistering ru where as sevco were found wanting again. God only knows how selling your main striker will close the gap, clueless
