Great post Trilby.

Was an appalling strategy. Clubs told that if the vote was successful they would receive their cash on Monday.
Should never have been part of the deal. Cash should have been distributed then clubs asked to vote.
It appears a whistleblower has supplied Rangers with proof that the process was badly handled.
As lawwell is no longer an SPFL board member why was he the first person Doncaster sought to discuss the situation with at 5.00pm?
A question mark also hangs over why the SPFL ignored Rangers attempts to discuss an alternative proposal until it was too late to amend it?

TBH I'd give celtic the title if they are that desperate.

aka - as I stated above the 2019 - 20 season should finish when safe to do so.  What is the BIG rush in Scotland? Let everything stay as is.  If some clubs need money then they should get a loan from the SFA if possible.

Celtic are in NO rush for this season to end.  When the league resumes Celtic will ease to an easy league title. They have enough cash flow to keep going for future months.  Why do Rangers fans including you think Lawwell is behind this current strategy?  It's complete and utter nonsense.

The resolution covered 124 pages. Incredible the lack of time given to read, digest and debate this.

Kriskin I've merely asked the question why did Doncaster make Lawwell the first person to call at 5.00pm.
Lawwells influence? What about MacLennan and McKenzie?

As regards cash flow celtic have the same issues as all other clubs hence them furloughing their non-playing staff and getting their management team and players to accept reduced wages.

can't wait to see sevco's evidence, telling club they got bullied when they all the clubs know they didn't,

unless, it was themselves, hearts and stranraer were the 3 exemptions that got bullied.

Seems very strange to me.

Doncaster was absolutely magnificent in clarifying the difference between loan and advance payments.

Reminded me of the time celtic said they wouldn't sell Di Canio.
A couple of days later they did but told the 'supporters' that they hadn't sold him but had traded him.
Some people are easily fooled.

The most unprofessional football club around. In these unprecedented times they are doing their utmost to destroy Scottish football. Perhaps their fans should be asking the people running the club questions about their club's financial health. But they won't...until it's too late. "But nobody warned us" will be the cry.

30% of all clubs unhappy and want an independent investigation

Dundee vote shananigans was instrumental last month, they changed their vote after it was cast and after the board had informed them how others had voted.

This is only the begining.

Makes me laugh these scum obsessed with the Mighty Gers and forever posting here, Bready.  Surprised not to see more support for the motion but who knows, maybe some other clubs were threatened too?  Quite sickening how Celtic orientated the SFA is but hey ho, we all like a good fight - and history has shown time and time again that we're jolly good at it - nay, SIMPLY THE BEST - when the odds are against us.  Round Two on it's way, as is my Amazon order for more popcorn Excited

Think it's not about support for Rangers rather than the support for the  resolution to have an independent investigation into the way voting was conducted and the missing  votes ect ect, they were quick enough finding digital fingerprints ect when they sacked Dallas for distributing a public health warning via their email system  but all of a sudden the computer systems and IT are a mystery to them, walofs.
They (spfl) said they were keen to have alignment with English FA but were in fact one of the first body's  to  to approach uefa and ask to "call league".
Forked tongued fcks.
Lennon was in papers in March kicking their campaign off, that was first time I heard anything about the possibility of a shutdown never mind celtic demanding the title be handed to them.
All very clandestine imo.
Yes the enter button helps, cheers.

This morning is the first I've heard of Castore.

https://castore.com/uk/

https://castore.com/uk/castore-x-rangers-partnership/

From a Club e-mail -

Dear Rangers Supporters,

It is a huge privilege and honour for us to partner with Rangers Football Club. We want to take this opportunity before the official announcement to reach out directly to the most important people within this club and introduce ourselves.

The first thing to say right from the very outset is that we are here for one very simple reason – to drive this club forward and help bring trophies back to Ibrox. Rangers is one of the most prestigious football clubs on the planet and the most successful club in the world; trophies belong here. These are not empty words - as the new kit and retail partner of the club, we are committed to adding value and contributing to Ranger’s next chapter of success.

Firstly, through ensuring the players are wearing the highest quality kit in the league – Castore exists in a highly competitive market because we create products that are undisputedly superior to our competitors. We create fabrics that are lighter, more flexible and more durable than anything else in the market and work with the best manufacturing facilities in the world; we have complete confidence our products will enhance world class athletes. Sport at the very highest level often comes down to the smallest margins and we will do everything we can to give Rangers players an edge. As for the designs of our new Rangers kits, we’ll let you be the judge of those yourselves.

Secondly, we want to sell more products to Rangers fans all over the world. In a clean break from how things have been done in the past, Rangers Football Club will benefit directly from every product we sell. The more we sell, the more money flows straight back into the club. Castore is a digitally native brand, already selling into over 60 countries worldwide and we will use our expertise to leverage Rangers global brand recognition. Rangers has one of the largest, most passionate and most international fan bases in the world. We will utilise our expertise to better serve these fans and in the process look to create a blueprint that can deliver long term financial benefits to the club. We also have incredibly exciting plans for the megastore which we will refurbish and reopen in the coming months. All of the great clubs of European football have stadium megastores befitting their status and Rangers will be no different. We will make the megastore one fans can be proud of and call their own.

When we founded Castore four years ago it was with the desire of building a global brand. Not an easy goal to achieve but the idea of being content with anything less appeals to neither of us. In a past life, we both had ambitions of playing professional football ourselves – unfortunately neither of us had the talent to get to the top so instead we want to do something where we could genuinely challenge the very best. The sportswear market is one of the most competitive in the world and the desire to compete is what drives us. A small clique of American and German brands have dominated the global sportswear market for so long and we see no reason whatsoever why a British brand cannot disrupt the status quo. Our business has grown extremely rapidly since we started and we now have a group of very strong investors backing us, with very high expectations. Partnering with Rangers is a seminal milestone for us on our journey of building Castore into the brand we want it to be and we have absolutely no intention of stopping before we get there.

We made the decision to enter the football market 12 months ago and our strategy is simple – to partner with clubs who have a deep history and heritage, a global fan base and the ability to win trophies. It is the final of these points which most excites us. We will partner with 3-5 leading clubs across Europe in the next 18 months and had a number of options available to us when choosing our first partner. Nobody came close to matching Rangers and we cannot wait to be part of the next chapter of success for this phenomenal football club.

Castore is proud of our Liverpool roots and the city of Glasgow and Rangers as a club share many of the values which are important to us – resilience, a commitment to hard work, a desire to overcome the odds. Nothing worth having in life comes easy and success is earned. Our brand ethos which drives us every single day is Better Never Stops – this attitude represents both cities very well and it is this mindset which will underpin everything we do with Rangers in the coming years.

We will shortly be launching the new kits for the 2020/21 season and are incredibly excited to unveil the designs to you all. An exclusive pre-order window will be offered for all MyGers members and we look forward to sharing more details soon.

The final message we would like to leave you with is that we are not like any other kit partner you have had previously. We have built this business ourselves, from the ground up, brick by brick. It has taken sacrifice, pain and an immense amount of hard work to get us here. This is personal for us. We are fully aware of the expectations in partnering with this great club and are relishing the opportunity to make you proud. We know that talk is cheap but in the coming months and years our actions will demonstrate that we will not let this partnership be anything other than a success.

Tom & Phil Beahon

Better Never Stops

Thought I’d have a wee browse through twitter quickly and, shock, out of the 20 most ‘popular’ recent tweets about Castore, 11 were from Celtic fans.
I genuinely can’t understand a scenario where I’d be interested in who makes the Celtic kit.
Appreciate that there will be some from our support who are similar, but on social media, every single Rangers related discussion is always infested with them.

Saw a thread on kerrydale meltdown which had some of them looking up the company holders and the return addresses and ****. Honestly it gets to a point where you have to start questioning the sanity of some of these people. I genuinely hand on heart can say I’ve never so much as looked at anything related to them let alone who makes their kit and who owns the company.

Saw that too. Genuinely mental. Looking up the address where they take returns too.
As I said, I know there are nut jobs in our support, but they take it to another level.

Strange how the 2 main prodytagonists on this thread dogmatically bang on and on about non-sevconians posting here, yet go onto post spurious p!sh here about Celtic half the time Crazy. The OP stated the thread was for 'all things sevco' and the non-sevconian contributing element post on topic, so I don't see the problem ya pair of auld omadhauns.
