Cheating of Rangers in the cup was so blatent, not even hiding it anymore , rescheduling fixtures and failure to uphold the leagues integrity so transparent, We gave them enough rope and they done the rest. Hook line and sinker.

The silence on other matters concerning celtic is deafening and the recent shamefull cover up attempt from offials is further evidence things are rancid.

I think UEFA will take this out of the hands of the SPFL and announce that all uncompleted competitions under their jurisdiction will be null and void.
As regards Rangers game in hand it was poor scheduling that caused this. Cant remember the week but when other teams caught up on their outstanding games we were made to play on the Friday night. Having played on the Sunday it meant we couldn't play Tuesday or Wednesday. |

SEASON DEFINED IN RULES Season means the period of the year commencing on the date of the first League Match in a Season and ending on the date of the last League Match in the same Season or otherwise as determined by the Board and which excludes the Close Season; (So the board have ability to determine when season ends "otherwise determined") C8 section tells you who is champions when the season ends, Hope this helps, I know the hoops lawyers have confirmed 9 in a row. Obviously if the govt intervened and they banned football, that might be possibly different circumstances (depending on the process) and could be challenged by Hearts. I doubt any teams in top 6 behind Celtic would have the brass neck to do so. |

Teams who are currently leading their championships wouldn't be named as champions if the season is cancelled. Cegerin is a lawyer. |

Football is in unique situation, thought this guy is brilliant the way he conducts himself. Very intelligent man too.
Steven Naismith's Hearts sacrifice and what makes it different from ruthless Rangers exit in 2012 Scotland international has also committed to staying at the club even if they are relegated He's pledged his future and half his wage to Hearts eight years after deciding to cut and run on Rangers. Steven Naismith answered Ann Budge 's call for full-time staff to take a 50 per cent pay cut in their time of need, and is a Hearts hero for doing so. The Tynecastle skipper released a statement on Sunday, becoming the first to publicly accept the terms and explained why. He said: “Like my team-mates, I’ve been thinking a lot about the request from Hearts to reduce our wages by 50 per cent to help the club and protect as many jobs as possible during this uncertain period. I have discussed it at great length with my family. “The current circumstances put everyone in a very difficult position, but this isn’t a problem of Hearts’ making. "My family and I feel that, through a long career, football has been very good to us. “Therefore, I personally feel that I can and should accept the 50 per cent reduction in wages. “I hope this can contribute in some way to the long-term survival of the club at a challenging time and save jobs, especially those that are the lowest earners and hence those who will be struggling the most at this time. “I know every one of my team-mates have unique circumstances with their finances, homes and families. I can assure everyone they are all doing what they can. “As captain of Hearts, I will fully support my team-mates, whatever decision each of them makes on this matter. “I am making a commitment to stay at Hearts, regardless of which league the club is in, next season and look forward to continuing to lead as captain. I consider it an honour to represent Hearts. “I hope this can give some certainty in uncertain times.” Music to Hearts fans’ ears no doubt but many Rangers fans will remember him singing different tune. Naismith elected to quit the Ibrox club back in 2012, rejected the chance to have his contract transferred over to Charles Green’s newco following liquidation. He wasn’t the only one, but has arguably bore the brunt of the Gers fans’ feelings in the eight years since, Naismith having abandoned them in their eyes as they began “the journey” back from the bottom tier of Scottish football. “This is a new company called Sevco. I’ve never met Mr Green or anyone from Sevco. I don’t know who the investors are or what league they’ll be in,” said Naismith at the time. “So how can I push forward into a new company that I don’t know anything about or any person involved in it? Solicitor Simon Catto speaks to the press on behalf of Steven Naismith and Steven Whittaker on developments over their future at Rangers. “I have concerns about who is in charge of the new club, definitely. You need to know what business you’re going to be part of. If you don’t, it’s inevitable there will be problems. “The first I heard from Mr Green was on Thursday through an email. You would think they might have been in contact before then considering the enormity of the situation. “The loyalty I had was with Rangers. I’ve never met anyone from Sevco since it’s been formed. And I don’t think I could have moved forward on those terms.” So given Naismith could have just as easily asked for his contract to be terminated this time around, what’s different? Naismith was 24 when Rangers suffered a financial catastrophe with his best years in front of him and as a result, yet to come close to maximising his earnings. An international player and title winner, his stock was high and chances of a lucrative move to a big club down south were high. To drop four divisions at that stage in his career would have been suicidal to his Scotland hopes. Signing for Premier League Everton in July of that summer certainly vindicated his choice. Now though, Naismith is 33 and has done his stint south of the border. The way things ended at Norwich means interest in him from England would now likely be from a lower level. He earned a four-year contract at Hearts last summer, which raised a few eyebrows, and on good money at that, even if half of it has now been waived. Put simply, Naismith has the security that most players crave in their early 30s, and it would be a much bigger gamble to give that up now. He’d be dropping down one division The thought of a mid-20s Steven Naismith playing up front for Rangers in the third division is frankly ludicrous. On form, he remains one of the top flight’s better players even now so the disparity then between a starting Scotland striker and part-timers would’ve been obscene, If Hearts are relegated, the step down won’t be nearly as extreme. Team-mate Christophe Berra did it with Dundee in January and while Naismith would easily be the best player in the division, it would still represent a challenge with Hearts far from guaranteed the swift return they managed last time. His relationship with Ann Budge As he made clear back in 2012, Naismith had never met Charles Green, upstanding character that he eventually proved to be. There was no relationship there, no trust and Naismith wasn’t about to take a leap of faith for a guy who seemed at best an opportunist. With Budge it’s very different. She’s been at the helm the whole time he’s been a Hearts player and was involved as he personally negotiated his permanent move from Norwich. While Naismith’s assessment that this is a problem not of Hearts’ making is perhaps a touch generous, having just about every income stream wiped up couldn’t have been foreseen. Compare that to the lingering demise of Rangers that was years in the making, then his willingness to sacrifice now is much more understandable. |

When Naismith left Rangers it was because he couldn't get assurances his contract would be honoured. He moved to Everton but insisted they paid Rangers a fee. |

The bairn a bigot who pretends to be a falkirk fan, and doesn't pretend to know zilch about greyhound racing. (worset tipster ever on greyhound forum)
I tell you what Big Jock Knew, he knew how to win a European cup and bring it back to Britain before the English Clubs. He also knew that Graeme Souness was a legend and one he kept very close to him as Scotland boss just like he did Cesar in 1967. Souness hero worships the big man to this day He recognized Ferguson was going to the top long before anybody else. Fergie said the eulogy at Sean Fallon's mass. Fergie hero worships the big man to this day He also recognized the ability of a younger Walter Smith as going to be a top coach, there is a great you tube video of Walter "question and answers" talking about his pride on this process and how Big Jock was the best. Walter hero worships the big man to this day. Big Jock had a lot of faults, it's well known that, aggressive, possibly ignorant at times, heavy punter, perhaps discarded great servants too early, cos he had no sentiment for past glories. Possibly done a few dirty deals, who knows ? One thing I would be ****g amazed at (despite maybe being in a photo together) if Jock Stein knew who the **** Jim Torbett was, because he wasn't a guy who dealt with minions. He dealt with the best and the best looked up to him So bairn keep ur muck for follow follow and fcuck off. |

Walter talking about the Big man

malay, you are a bigot of the highest order with the bile you spout on here, i only asked a question about big jock, when i used to go to Powderhall, the bookie i bet with pointed out Jim Torbett and said that he
is one despicable c--t,but he never told me why, but in the fullness of time, we all know. now f--k off yourself. cheers. |

What a liar you are bairn, and a vile individual who needs to seek help for you're delusions, I'm not fcuking off and I'm certainly not a bigot.
Refer to my previous posts, if you personally had a relationship with a "bookie and Jim Torbett",(obviously Powderhall closed a long time ago, but you have great knowledge of Jim Torbett on the track, on one reference from you're ALLEGED bookmaker friend, on a cold winter Saturday night, was Big Jock alive at this time ? he died in 1985) and if you felt it was connected to the "big man" and involved criminal behaviour, go and tell the police what YOU KNOW ! okay In fact I may report you to Police Scotland myself to ensure you give all evidence "you KNOW" to the PF, I am sure they will be interested in you as you seem to be the font of knowledge on Jim Torbett in greyhound racing, because you are the only person who has ever mentioned his name ever about frequenting greyhound tracks. CHEERS, hope you can provide evidence on any beast activity. |

Drivel In June 2012, Naismith lodged an objection against his contract being transferred to the new Rangers company. Absolute nonsense.
Naismith McGregor and one other player who I cant remember were selected by the other players to speak to Green and ask for ceretain guarantees. Naismith said at the time he would be willing to take a cut of 75% to his wages but despite numerous approaches Green failed to meet with them. Everton did pay Rangers a fee although it fell short of his value at the time. joeybhoy quoting the daily drivel ![]() ![]() ![]() BTW wee joieybhoy you could pollute a cesspit. |

WTF you talking about? Everybody now knows about Torbett. He was convicted after trial and now faces fresh accusations. So reel yer neck in Malay and talk sense. |

In fact that last comment to joeybhoy could apply to a few more on here.
Why don't you do everybody a favour and chat in your own celtic thread. Quite a few Scottish teams on the brink of extinction and the world facing a massive health risk but you lot would rather take a few cheap shots at the Rangers. Obsessed c*nts. ![]() |

A MESSAGE FROM OUR CAPTAIN
Dear Supporter, Rangers Football Club would like to extend our best wishes to all of our supporters worldwide. During this very difficult time, everyone’s health and wellbeing comes first and foremost. We are indebted to the courage of medical staff and key workers in the UK and across the world. On behalf of Rangers FC-thank you for everything you are doing for us. Club Captain James Tavernier has shared a message to our worldwide support: “There is a lot of uncertainty and worry for everyone around the world right now. I know what an institution like Rangers means to our loyal fans but football must be secondary right now. It is vital that we follow the advice of the government and medical experts to beat this virus. Football and sport in general, play a massive role for the health and wellbeing of millions around the world. Both physically and mentally, sport unites us all. This virus is impacting everyone in all aspects of life. Naturally, we are all concerned for our family, friends and loved ones but hopefully in time, we’ll be able to get back to normality. Let’s look forward to getting back to the joy of being back out on the pitch and supporting our team. As players we’re in constant contact with the club as this situation changes. We’ve been given specific fitness and dietary programmes to follow in the coming weeks and all the lads are communicating with each other and with the staff. The programmes are geared towards us being in the best possible physical condition and we are looking forward to being back together at the Club soon. We are ready for the challenges of the current season being completed as soon as it’s safe for everyone to do so. Rangers wouldn’t exist without its fans and we want to return when it’s safe to do so infront of our unbelievable fans, and certainly not behind closed doors. In closing, please look after yourself and your loved ones. Stay safe and follow your local government guidelines. Thank you to the medical staff, and all key workers in the UK and across the world. |
