Gers have secured Jordan Jones from Kilmarnock and Glenn Kamara from Dundee, both on pre-contract agreements with a view to joining the Light Blues in the summer.

Was agreed as part of the deal that brought Morelos here.

He has issues like Suárez did at Liverpool. But if Gerrard can nip them in the bud he will be a huge asset to us. It would be tragic if he left imo bearing in mind who we have just signed on 35k per week...

Cutting stuff from iamadeboer.
Good 3-2 win which helps get the cobwebs off after the break.
Morelos was outstanding, yet again, in his build up play and hopefully will gel with Defoe.

Davis looked good on his return with Defoe a tad subdued.
Think that Lafferty will struggle to get game time for the remainder of the season.

I first saw it mentioned about 10 days ago Trilby.
That was on twitter, wasn't given much publicity for some reason.

Aha, it hadn't crossed my mind that the Veikkausliiga runs from April - October and that the Finnish champions (by sixteen clear points) are currently on their winter break.

Analysis - Jones 'showed why Rangers signed him'

Former Rangers midfielder Alex Rae on BBC Radio Scotland:

"I signed a pre-contract with Rangers when I was at Wolves. You have to realise Jordan Jones is not going to down tools. He showed exactly what he brings to the table and that is the reason Rangers have signed him.

"It is a disappointing result for Rangers and dents their championship aspirations, on the back of the Old Firm win. I always felt the three or four games after the winter break would define Rangers' season and when you consider that expectations have risen and they have added a couple of big games to their squad, they came up short.

"Whatever shape you play, you can't legislate for the defending by Worrall that led to Brophy's goal. That gave Kilmarnock an extra yard and inspiration, and Rangers couldn't match it. That would be the worrying thing for Steven Gerrard."

I'm beginning to quite like Slippy. Wonder how his record compares to Warbs & Pedro, can't be much in it. And Slippy's had a lot more cash to splash. #DeeperInDebt FC.

Rangers and Cowdenbeath have jointly funded a pitch "incubation system" to ensure their rescheduled Scottish Cup tie goes ahead on Wednesday.

The Central Park surface fell foul to frost last Friday with the game called off three hours from kick-off.
League Two Cowdenbeath were unhappy at the postponement, with director Tom Ewing saying the club were "hugely disappointed".

The winner will face an away tie against Kilmarnock next month.

"Cowdenbeath FC & @RangersFC have agreed to jointly fund a pitch protection and incubation system to ensure that our @ScottishCup tie goes ahead on Wednesday," said Cowdenbeath on Twitter.

"Grateful thanks go to the @ScottishFA and Rangers for working with us on this initiative for the benefit of all parties."

The 4,300-capacity ground was sold out for a match due to be shown live on TV, with Steven Gerrard's Rangers playing the first game after the Premiership's winter break.

The next few games are huge for Gherrard. His current league record is worse than John Barnes -
Barnes P20 W13 D2 L5 Pts41 SACKED!!!
Gherrard P22 W12 D6 L4 Pts 42.
Should they get past Cowdenbeath in the Scottish Cup they would travel to the Premiership's 2nd placed team Kilmarnock, against whom their recent record is to say the least horrendous - W2 D4 L5.
Add to this the mounting debt and the future does not look bright over in Govan. Let's see how it pans out.

Rising debt, that's a good one.
Debt free and cash rich thanks to a packed Ibrox every week and £14m extra from the Uefa cup.
I would stop the subscription to JJ bennybhoy.Grin

Good 3-0 win today and Morelos showed he's worth every penny of the £25m price tag being quoted.
Great work off the ball keeping the Livi defenders busy along with some fantastic link-up play.
The goal, which was the pick of the 3, was the icing on the cake for him.

I liked the "don't watch sevco much"

We all know that most tic supporters are glued to all things rangers both online and on tv because of their obsession.

The pitch invasion was a few kids who ran on to celebrate with morelos when he scored.

We still need an out and out striker who won't keep missing all the chances we create if we want to win the league.

I thought it would take till next season before we could mount a challenge so anything this season is a bonus.

King akabula obviously doesn't  get the irony of claiming that Sevco are 'debt free and cash rich' because,in doing so,he's admitting, that as the saying goes,'They're not Rangers anymore'.

So if you're Rangers and 'cash rich' how about paying your debts to the face painter and the newsagent and the other 360 odd organisations to whom Rangers owe 140 million Pounds?

You're Sevco. Rangers ceased to exist in 2012.Devil

trilby, outside the Celtic-Sevco matches I have probably watched between 15 and 30 minutes of Sevco games this season. I wonder how this compares with your viewing of the double treble winners this season?
