Jamie Murphy had his knee operated on yesterday.
Be a long time out though. Won't see him in action this season. |

Rangers: Gareth McAuley joins Steven Gerrard's side until end of the season
Rangers have completed the signing of Northern Ireland defender Gareth McAuley on a deal until the end of the season. McAuley, 38, has been a free agent since leaving West Bromwich Albion in the summer following their relegation from the Premier League. He played 12 times last term, having been a regular in his previous six season with the Baggies. The former Ipswich centre-back has 79 caps and played at Euro 2016. "The opportunity to come and play at this famous club is amazing," McAuley told RangersTV. "My family support the club, myself as well. The street I was born on, the kerbs were painted red, white and blue." McAuley, who also played for Lincoln City and Leicester, aims to pass on his considerable experience once he joins up with Steven Gerrard's squad after the international break. "There's a young group of players here," he said. "I want to help develop them and also challenge them to play in the team. "Speaking to the manager in the last week or so, that's something I can bring to the project." |

Rangers will have learned a lot from that Celtic game, they got outplayed but they set up not to lose which I can't see Gerrard doing again next time
Celtic look demotivated imo, they haven't spent and its the same squad that have won back to back trebles and done the unbeatable season, its bound to catch up tbh. |

Excellent display yesterday from the Champions Elect.
I thought every player looked good but Morelos stood out. Apart from his goal he played a major part in three of the others and could have had a second. Rangers going from strength to strength. |

Stroll in the park for Rangers tonight but that booking for Morelos could prove costly.
Sees him banned for the semi-final and, with Lafferty cup tied, gives us a headache up front. |

I stopped watching the Livi match half way through the second half as we were back to the bad old days of only passing sideways and backwards.
We've been playing well recently going forward but this was like the celtic game again where we held back and didn't attack. Hopefully now we have that out of our system and realise that it doesn't work, we can get back to playing the right way. |

Have to say that Steven Gerrard is the only manager involved in the Bfred semis to have conducted himself with dignity throughout the process.
As I said celtic claiming Hearts have an advantage playing at Murrayfield as they held some of their league matches there. Hearts played at Murrayfield 3 times. BTW celtic played at Hampden 4 times last season. |

Cash flowing into the club thanks to 4 full house home ties in the Europa League qualifiers.
£3m for reaching the group stages with another 3 sell out home ties plus £600k per win and £200k per draw. Add on the shares cash and we're looking at approx £20m. Running costs to be deducted of course but it still leaves us cash rich. BTW ignore wages as they are already accounted for in the normal season and these games are extras. Cash rich as I keep saying. |

Steven Ge55ard is not the answer for Sevco. Celtic have had a terrible start to the season yet are miles ahead of them. Third place in the league will be as good as it gets.

Gerrard said:
“We are on the right way, but nothing would be better than winning a semi-final and getting the chance to play in a final. “I do not want to talk about silverware just yet. It is still early. “But hopefully if we get through this tough test at the weekend we can start thinking big.” [ This image is no longer available. ] |

Rangers, by far, played the best football today but lacked that final touch.
Aberdeen very poor but got lucky, Hearts looked okay until the ref gifted celtic their obligatory penalty and the goalie threw one into the net giving an exceptionally poor celtic team the advantage. |
