The 2 selections tonight in Romania and Belgium did the biz in pretty efficient fashion as Club Brugge scored a couple from the spot on their way to a 4-1 victory over mid-table Kortrijk while Steaua raced to 3-0 HT lead in the capital, eventually resulting in a 4-0 romp to send the 'militarii' top of the league.....

A bit of a rollercoaster day!  Firstly, the long unbeaten run fell prior to the half-century thanks to a 1st half capitulation from Avellino who inexplicably conceded 3 within 45 mins to a Lanciano side that had scored just 2 goals in their last 6 games on the road.  But hey.....that's football I suppose. It was also a tale of late goals and coming from behind (so to speak) as the opposition scored first in all 6 games but luckily 4 of them rallied back to win.  Siena and MK Dons both grabbed victory in the final minutes but on the flip-side, Karabukspor were denied all 3 points by their Black Sea rivals Trabzonspor at the death.  So against all odds, a small profit was gained on a tricky day which I will take all day long after snaring a rare defeat .......

A quiet Sunday proved profitable in the end although I had my doubts early on with Cottbus pegging back an early Aalen opener whilst Besiktas were a man down and being held 0-0.  However the boys on the banks of the Bosphorus rallied back to keep the heat on city rivals Fenerbahce by winning 1-0 through (the rather slow and cumbersome) Hugo Almeida.  A good day could have been made great if Aalen had hung on to win the battle at the Bundesliga 2 basement but unfortunately fluffed their lines by conceding an injury time equaliser (90+3 to be exact ).  Elsewhere, Ajax enforced their superiority over a Heerenveen side managed by one of their former greats in the shape of Marco Van Basten.  They had the tidy Danish schemer Lasse Schone to thank as he scored all 3 (including 2 penalties) as the Amsterdammers maintained their lead over Twente at the summit of the Eredivisie.......

Appreciate the kind words and hope you may have landed one or two along the way.  Yeah the momentum shows no signs of stopping and has certainly gone beyond my expectations. 

As my staking plan is still based on my initial £200.00 bank, I'm thinking of altering things if I hit the £600.00 profit mark by the end of Week 7 by banking the original £200.00, extracting another £200.00 from the potential £600.00 profit (so even if everything goes to pot, I still would have doubled my money) which would leave £400.00 to base my staking plan on (which would in effect be doubling my stakes and hopefully the profit).

But we'll see how it goes.

My current plan is based on my initial bank of £200.00 and is:

Win 5% (£10.00) ~ Draw No Bet 10% (£20.00) ~ Opposition lay 15% (£30.00)

Looks like Steaua got the win that put them top of Liga I and condemned the Red Caps of Transylvania to prolonged relegation mire.  A win is a win and although only a very slight profit was made, it keeps going in the same direction and I suppose that is all that matters .......
