i dont give a fcuk

you can keep calm and convince yourself you are right when its obvious you are full of BS

i'm not surprised i'm losing my rag because you seem to think its because of a liverpool fans reaction rather than a logically thinking persons reaction.

Yes. You are having a pop in this thread as Liverpool or on a winning run, when they lose you'll be nowhere to be seen.

Same old.

You are arguing that laying Liverpool is bad because they are winning. Good luck to you, but I'll keep taking what I consider value and watch you stamp and scream that someone has a different opinion.

Do you really want me to comment on that? You're back onto the price doesn't matter territory again.

Or I could just scroll up to when Liverpool weren't doing so well and the thread was quiet?

This thread would probably have been profitable in the past 25 odd seasons or so to be fair. I blame you CJ70 for starting it ffs.

Yes, I'm laying each week because they are short each week. I know you'll disagree and think it's madness because you think they'll win.

not at all

i've said on this thread that we were often too short in games at home especially against the lesser teams

my issue has been that this season these games have not caused the same problems, (due to the team scoring more goals than any other in the league)

so i dont know what prices you are expecting in some of these games because liverpool have been different this season

Do you think the Liverpool prices this season are the same as last season?

Both wrong. Bets should be based on prices available and 9 times out of 10,
they are correct, (no bet)
By:
stridingedge
When: 18 Mar 14 21:57
i think they are more realistic given the performance of the team this season

ie 1/3 against dross at home when you have dropped only 5 pts is more realistic than 1/3 in past seasons when we have had a very poor home record
By:

When: 18 Mar 14 21:58
ken you keep stating the obvious

the long run market is virtually perfect, there will be fluctuations but blanket backing or laying of anything should not yield long run profits.

must always be selective

Completely disagree with you. Liverpool prices haven't been correct for a long time.

There's normally two betting issues with Liverpool. A) They are always too short and B) They nearly always steam before KO(team dependent)

This thread is just a written version of A.

There are thousands of supporters of all P/L sides who bet on their team every week because they want them to win. They ignore all betting logic. I didn't realise until just reading thru this whole thread that there were people like CJ who hate a team so much that they also ignore betting logic and lay that team every week. I support Arsenal and hate both MU and Liverpool but don't bet blindly on Arsenal

If it was another team with Liverpool's away record you could add another point to it.

The price(s) of Liverpool will sometimes be on the
short side but not always. There are too many 'shrewdies'
around for many of them to be wrong.

liverpool should be about 1.75 against cardiff

the 2/1 against the mancs on the relative form and performances of the 2 sides this season was certainly not too stingy (hard to say this after the game obviously but there was a complete class difference and energy level, as has been the contrast with both this season so far!)

1.41 away is poor though against anyone.

you'd have had your arms bitten off giving 3/1 at OT in that game, seriously would have been flattened in the stampede.
By:
stridingedge
When: 18 Mar 14 22:42
i think this is the main problem i have

there will be games when i'd agree with the price being wrong but games when i think its right. as ken said earlier a lot of games would be no bet games as the prices would look spot on.

certainly can't have it that the price has been too short every week.
By:
kenilworth
When: 18 Mar 14 22:48
Striding, to suggest Liverpool should be
around 1.75 against Cardiff is ridiculous.
By:
CJ70
When: 18 Mar 14 22:49
You can scrap all the away games for being decent odds as Liverpool's away form has been absolutely tragic for most of the season even when picking up 3 points. We are looking at home games where the Liverpool price could be value and it's just all so ridiculously short.

The only game that looks relatively close to being value is the home game against Man Utd and that's only with the benefit of seven months worth of results.
By:
stridingedge
When: 18 Mar 14 22:49
ok its near the price i'd want to back them at

i would never back them away against anyone in the league at 1.41

I wouldn't touch them anywhere near odds on away from home. Apart from the last two games and Tottenham in Jan they've been hopeless.
