i think if this whole sorry murray inspired saga had came to light a year earlier then rangers would possibly have had a chance to stay in the spl as im sure they would still have had decent support this time last year amongst the football public however i believe it is the obnoxious arrogant attitude of everyone involved in rangers these past 6 months that dont seem to understand what they have done that has united everyone else in football in scotland against them

If newco/sevco qualify from this round of the Ramsdens Cup , do they then have to play all future ties away from home ?
Is the draw only regional in the first round ?
If it's still regional and a club have to travel to Ibrox/Murray Park , do they then get some sort of compensation package for the extra travel/time of journey
I was in Kelty during the week , and the locals were bemoaning the fact that the local Junior team ( Kelty Hearts ) had a match against Newco/Sevco called off because of problems with an SFA license . Could that match have gone ahead if it had been billed as Kelty Hearts  - V - Ibrox XI ( or something like that ) , a fair chance lack of time could sink the prospects of that fixture being played .
Any news on a challenge to Newco/Sevco gaining a place in SFL , by the likes of Spartans FC ? This would be against the SFA and /or the SFL , and not the newly addmitted club .

Livingston have been relegated to the Scottish Third Division for breaching league rules on insolvency.....no vote..no penaltys  straight into div3 no mention about other teams like spartons..
Gretna win 3 titles no talk of cheating or stripping tittles

the Hypocrisy in Scotland is pathetic , most of you dont even have the balls to admit its all down to hatred to the most  successful club in Scotland

They are hoping the Kelty Hearts game will be re-scheduled its a testimonial for one of the Kelty players.
I work with one of the Kelty backroom staff so will keep you up to date.
He actually showed me one of the printed tickets for the match on the day it was called off.  He was naturally upset as he is a Rangers man as well & was looking forward to pitting his wits against Super Ally & co lol.
They had to build temp stands for TV camera`s and the 2500 sell out attendance.
They also had temp corporate facilities available on the day.
Tickets were priced at £5 a head.

3 years ban from EUROPE  and Rangers punishment losing CL place..

What a shame that you don't go on to to actually quote Article 12(2)

"Any alteration to the club’s legal form or company structure (including, for example, changing its headquarters, name or club colours, or transferring stakeholdings between different clubs) during this period in order to facilitate its qualification on sporting merit and/or its receipt of a licence to the detriment of the integrity of a competition is deemed as an interruption of membership or contractual relationship (if any) within the meaning of this provision.”

I'd say any sensible person would consider going into liquidation so that a newco can buy the assets on the cheap and wipe out £100m+ in debt is well covered by that, and gives no reason for any exception to the rule.

You are either the thickest person on this forum, or a compulsive liar.

jesus christ talk about missing the point GONZO ,my point is there shouldnt be an exception to this rule as Rangers are guilty  , hence the reason UEFA and the SFA  both have said in public statements that the PUNISHMENT is just and will not entertain this rule .  my point in the eyes of UEFA its A.................. PUNISHMENT...........

UNTIL THE DECISION ON THE TAX CASE IS MADE , RANGERS DEBT IS NOWHERE NEAR 100M ANOTHER FACT FOR YOU

Mr eejit thinks I'm a tory Laugh I am a dyed in the wool socialist you daftie. I was merely pointing out that it's only fair to allow persons or businesses the ability to begin again after running into trouble. The fact that you wouldn't allow that makes you come across like a right Fascist. I suppose a Fascist like you would take people's homes from them and see families out on the street.

'Rangers 100 mill assets should not have been sold for a song, they should've been sold off to pay their debts.'

yes. that's the most confusing part of the whole process for me.
By:

When: 29 Jul 12 12:16
Have to agree with you Charlatan , , the assets had to be sold as a whole i acknowledge  this  ..
The CVA document suggested Rangers' creditors would get less than £1m if the club were to be liquidated. So the question remains: if another party was prepared to offer, say, £10m, can the Duff & Phelps-Green deal be ripped up? The big question why was this not allowed to happen ,  reports are saying consortiums  have proof THAT DUFF AND PHELPS would not entertain any their bids , it was handed to mr green on a plate , and as you point out to the expense of the creditors ....in my opinion the whole thing stinks

Can anyone please clarify something - do "rangers" the club formed in the 1870's actually still exist or have they officially been killed off yet? Betfair list todays match as Brechin v Rangers while the Daq lists it as Brechin v The rangers FC. Confused

Nickname:The Gers
Ground:Ibrox Stadium
Founded:1873

BBC ..BBC Sport profiles what Rangers can expect in Division Three this coming season

STV..Rangers prepare for Ramsden Cup clash with Brechin City

The assets were sold to Green for next to nothing because he'd almost certainly already struck a deal with Whyte who'd be getting a golden handshake.

high_lander, if a company took money off people when they were already aware they were going out of business (as in the Farepak & Rangers cases) then I'd call that fraud and I'd certainly think it unfair they were allowed to exit with their private wealth intact. Only a tory would disagree.

Green on spouting absolute sh1te again.

Saying this was driven by bigotry and jealousy, everybody lining up to kick a great club when they are down.

The 160k fine and points deduction was enough.

Should have decided on commercial reasons.

I was surprised they actually replied to me so swiftly.

Mr eejit stop pretending you give a sh!t about bankruptcy law and admit that you are a professional Rangers hater. You just want Rangers to die, to cease to exist - which is rather short-sighted of you tbh - think about it who or what are you going to spend the rest of your life hating on if RFC don't exist?

Green is now claiming bigotry was behind newco being unable to start in the spl or D1. What a half-wit. The only way the bigotry card could be claimed was if he thought a hatred of bigotry was behind it all but, if that was the case, they wouldn't even be in D3. The SPL lodge did everything they could to get them into the spl/d1 so he has to be claiming the directors and fans of the other clubs are some kind of church of Rome conspiracy. This  in a country where only around 16% of the population are Catholics.

Another quote from Green yesterday;

Green also risked angering many other SPL and Scottish Football League club's owners and chairmen by predicting that they were in such dire financial trouble that league reconstruction soon would be inevitable. "There will be changes at the top level this year because some of the clubs up there are really, really going to struggle financially with their current debt.

"These companies all file accounts, we can all see where they are in terms of their positions with the banks._ We've not got the debt that any of these clubs have. And, on the last day of the season, I would really enjoy some clever financial analyst looking at the balance sheets and debt-to-equity ratio of every club in Scotland.

=====================================================================================================================

Obviously you don't have the debt of other clubs you moron, cos you have just stolen over a £100 million from taxpayers, other football clubs and small business's.

This man is a ruthless financial capitalist who is now appealing to the lowest denominators in the Rangers support to try and raise capital.

He is in the same league as craig whyte and will do anything to try and save his investment.

What would be interesting to know is how many of the 95% of the Aberdeen support that took the trouble to vote & let their club know their feelings on the matter have actually bought season tickets?
It would also be interesting to know how the season ticket sales are going at other SPL clubs compared to previous years?
You would think that there would be a huge increase in season ticket sales given the uproar the fans of other SPL clubs caused in the name of Sporting Integrity.
The fact that a prominent solvent clubs chairman has made a public plea to rally round his club  must be a worrying scenario for other sides in the SPL who do not enjoy the same fiscal position.
