Fast flowing football again in paradise, expect to win the league in a canter (10+ points) will get found out early doors in Europe though.
Clean sweep at home, league, scottish cup and cis cup treble Hail Hail ! |
By:
i think we will win the league quite easy which most important thing! but i also feel we can get to later stages of europa lge. ok wont win it but do us no harm. bit of cash and more players wil sign

At last a proper thread talking about a real team. Good start to season and a great way to end an excellent week with the legends game raising funds and awareness about the famine in east Africa. 54000 crowd turning up in these recessionary times just shows what the Celtic family is all about and makes it the greatest club in the world. Hail, Hail

totally agre. wel said. fair play to kennedy!

Think a good run in europa league is vital to the finances. And restore a feel good factor again in the winter months, with some European nights. The fans have been short changed the last couple of years.

By:
Hope you lot will behave at Tynecastle .Disgraceful behaviour in the away end last season, attacking stewards and young girls in the shops, should be mightily ashamed of yourselves.
Mind you your gaffer is hardly a shining example. |
By:
Dont think Scottish football in general covered itself in glory last season from top to bottom including Celtic and Hearts.
By:
get u out of this thread! i dont think wer to bad financialy tho. the board just wont spend! euroipe nights are the best! just dont get over much any more!
By:
Yes i tend to agree with that.
By:
European nights are magic at Celtic park.Especially middle winter games freezing cold and a big named team in town.
By:
yes mate been to many of them! certainly can raise the game on them nights! sum top sides hav left with nothing!
By:
Still not a big fan of dan majstrovic. For his size and stature has put in some poor performances.Seems to be pretty poor positional.
By:
neither am i mate! neiher my da! thaught mulgrew was better in there but with izaguire fu cked he has to go left back. cud always swap wilson right. charlie centre and mattews rite! but dont c that

brig, watching the guy pretty closely today and i was hoping i had been harsh on him last season. my verdict.... he's not good enough. he creates more space for opposition than any of their players could ever hope to. i cant have him at all!
By:
He ticks all the boxes in what you would like your centre half to be, but more often or not in recovery mode with the ball getting dropped in behind him many times in most games.
By:
was watching aberdeen game last week. every tym ball wnt near him r zaluska i feared the worst! need a keeper lads. hows boruc going these days? still in iatly r wat
/ |
By:
tbh the only boxes he ticks is being 6 ft 2" and looking pretty hard. the actual footballing side i would struggle to tick many. poor in the air, poor positioning and not commanding enough. thats as negative as i'll ever be about anyone and i hope he proves me wrong. cant see it tho, gl hail hail
By:
last time seen boruc on the Telly was about 3 stone lighter than his Celtic days, must be the pasta and has cut out the parkhead pies at half time.
By:
Dont think the media speculation every day, and Celtic trying to bring in every goalie in Europe is doing his confidence much good with every mistake highlighted.
By:
is he still with fiorintina?
By:
totally agree. under pressure every game. and unless ur phil taylor pressure affects u
By:
yes not first choice
By:
try and keep the thread going like other Teams in the EPL
By:
yea lets go
By:
Thats the idea luna, need all like minded Celtic fans to keep this near the top and discuss all things good about our great club and the occasional negative points that needs discussed.HAIL HAIL.

great start and even better all different goal scorers.goals coming from midfield is what we want.good to see forrest get a goal and make a wee impact.if stays fit should be a good player for us this season.also i hope stokes starts every game and not sammy in the european and old firms,

Yeah mate he didnt get a game really or at all until about lst november until frey got injured.think he ended up playing rest of the season and done well.not sure what the situation is now if he is going to be playing or frey. |
By:
We need another good striker. Not a fan of Hooper. Stokes has started the season well. Would like to see Stokes playing off a good target man. Lukas did very well today. A goalkeeper would not be my top priority. The fans got right behind Lukas today. Big Dan cannot jump for a big man. A very weak link.
By:
zaluska always done well when called in for boruc.when injured/suspended.
pressure obviously got to him last season , by trying to claim no1 permanently |
By:
not a fan of hooper. What a joke? Hooper & stoke were combining well before Lennon decided to f**k it up & lose the league by bringing that waste of space Samaras in.
By:
yeah they two together are defo first pick for me

arronh some goal by fletcher today wasnt it
By:
was alright
Ward's was better |
By:
mac - Hooper is overhyped by some Celtic fans. He's another Scott MacDonald in my eyes. Stokes is our main striker at present.
By:
what about samaras
class striker |
By:
Hooper is still got improvement in him , needs the fans on his side. He scored a couple of pure quality goals against Rangers, a player who does that on the big stage is worth keeping faith in. Another quality striker for competition would do no harm at all.
Quality thread, may i suggest we flat out ignore the non Celtic fans. |
