um, sorry ken, not sure what point you're trying to make. I'd certainly be happier with my tip and its reasoning (which involved opposing an odds on favourite) than derek's dire effort (which involved ridiculing the eventual winners).
but the point is, I'm not the one getting overpaid to come up with tips under the byline "britain's no1 sports betting tipster" or whatever guff it is. everyone has a right to be a guesser. and everyone else has the right to take the p!ss. |

The mans a fúcking knób,Laughed at the chances of portugal and italy,he's fúcking clueless.
it's not the fact that he's wrong so often it's how he belittles the chances of the opponents that he's opposing. Grade A tósser |

It didn’t take long after our Euro 2012 humiliation for pundits to raise the old chestnut of England players needing a winter break.
Yep, playing less football will really help them improve their technique. A better idea is for Premier League clubs to sign up the cream of European talent and force them to play 60 games a season here in the vain hope they’ll be too knackered to play in the summer. England made Italy look so good that bookies give them half a chance tonight against Germany, yet we saw on Sunday they can’t take half-chances – or even full ones. Forget the Italian possession statistics, Germany are the past masters of possession. Let’s not forget that they tried to possess the whole world. At one time it was Germany 65 per cent, rest of the world 35 per cent. Thank God they failed or we’d have no international tournaments, just a worldwide Bundesliga. For all their ball retention, the Italians failed to score against England. They played 120 minutes without a goal, have had two days’ less rest than their opponents and their best player Andrea Pirlo won’t be allowed the freedom of the park against Germany. Not unless his papers are in order. Manager Joachim Loew and his men, who have won every game in the competition, are 10-11 with Hills to win in 90 minutes. It’s money in the bank – unless you bank with NatWest. Oh Dear. |

The bottom line is the hatred is from plastic armchair mancs who can't stand the fact a journalist supports Liverpool and isn't kissing Lsur Fergies dimpled posteria and topping his glass up with another snifter.
These forum anarchists are just real life losers who need to get a life away from an internet forum and get laid. I would hate to go through this existence back patting fellow geeks and spending hour upon hour every day positng bile & spite wiaitng for the chance to stick in the boot. Pathetic really. Empty shells and empty lives and all that. Not one of these goons would post a daily tip and compare it to Dereks. The offer has been put down many times but never taken up. Squiggle (Morrissey), Viva, Dawsy, Bettor Bettor etc all have copious amount of time and a lot to say; and all claim to be experts who run the column down. Well put up or shut up. Lets see you do a daily column and a tip and we can compare them side by side. Or you can just belittle someone elses work as it's easy. Jealousy is a terrible thing. |

Oh and I think Degsys humor is great. How can one not laugh at this little ditty?!:
'The only way England could string 60 passes together is if Rooney was on Mastermind.' ![]() Admittedly, the mancs didn't think it was so funny. |

----------- have you stopped being derek again then charwell? funny, because the other day you were saying you were going to put me in your column. in posts that seem to have mysteriously disappeared. |
|
By:
You keep telling me I'm Derek.
I have told you I'm not. Don't know anything about missing posts. Some of us have timelines and columns to write and can't spend all day on here being a sad little bitter. So you failed on the back of the draw Presidente. And Squiggle failed on the German back too. Expected better from such experts who are most unhappy they don't get paid by the word. The pair of you couldn't tip shyte from a bucket. |
|
By:
you're taking it very hard for someone who isn't derek, I must say.
perhaps a nice sit down and a relaxing study of the form for tomorrow's non-column might help. |

Update on the Squiggle & Presidente top tipping club:
Squiggle was 100% sure Nadal was a sure thing. In fact tennis was so dull as the top 3 NEVER fail to make the semi. Presidente looks like losing £400 on the Euro Champs Final ref by blindly following another punters hefty bet. No inside info or nothing. Just a blind aquirrel after some nuts. His selection is now trading bigger than Rooneys belly. Not that easy is it chaps?! |
