My DNA won't ever allow me to lay bigger than 1.29 WD so i'll take that lay if it appears , England price only holding as high as it was because of the expected limitations of England's 2nd innings bowling , that's why i'll wait for the England lay rather than back India.

Given the way the tracks playing but also maybe more than balanced by England's bowling potentially looking so weak and tired in the 2nd innings , can anyone see India scoring 450 given it's basically a do or die innings but also depending on how the weather behaves over the next few days ??

Luck and judgement The start by the openers gave me a good opportunity to if not load up but certainly weigh in a little England lay 1.66 India back 6.88 But this game can still go anywhere. I would like India to skittle England from here and bat well tomorrow ideally bat England out of it so I do not have to pay for the exit strategy |

The pitch may well get easier to bat on. India need to use the heavy roller and bat long.
I think predicting what will happen is impossible so just have to game possible scenarios England could conceivably roll India again |

Think when you get near the end of day 2 with wickets falling you have to look into the crystal ball by guessing what a 4th innings target would be par on this wicket with an assumption that the draw is almost out of the equation then.
So guessing if England get a 40 lead , India make 300 which you'd suspect would be more than feasible given than Gus is going to have to bowl very well and for longer than he'd like , how would you bet then with England needing 260 on day 4 & 5 ? |
