Josh 'Basset's' Tongue

Allsorts gets another!
|
|
By:
I like Tongue
I hope he learns how to bowl |

I think Sai and Jadeja were just surprised at getting balls they could reach !
I don't think i've ever seen a bowler spray it around so much since i first saw Devon Malcolm playing for Derby against Kent at The Mote. The first time Devon bowled a straight one he got a wicket. Maybe its a good tactic ? |

By:
This has been one of the worst bowling displays of accuracy I've ever seen in international cricket
|

the geordie lad had trouble with his radar ....shocking..name escapes me...decent bowler mind

Harmison or Plunkett
|
|
By:
Plunkett used to get wickets from some dreadful deliveries , two in one innings i remember were slow bouncers that were really wides down the leg.

Layed Engerland at 2.08 out of boredom
I know Dhruv Jurel can bat. Not sure about Nair |

Curse of the commentator!
|
|
By:
Poor shot

That is so stupid and annoys me. Commitment is one thing but I want a fast bowler to be more careful. The thing that annoys me even more is this has happened a few times in this series luckily without injury but I have not seen Stokes screaming at his fast bowlers when they have done that earlier in the series

I am against England at 1.85 and although I am delighted England are a bowler down I find that quite sickening and unnecessary. Macho sheite for nothing!
|

I know what you mean but I think it's innate in most to put in max effort - and if a dive (or equivalent) is required then a dive it is.
Also, not beyond the realms that that is the last action of Chris Woakes as an England cricketer... |
|
By:
Would be a huge shame.
He morphed from a workhorse to something much better, five or six years ago - and he and Wood flipped the last Ashes series. |
|
By:
It is innate big gets was plenty of time to think about it. He did not want to let the team down, rightly. It is up to the leader to say don’t be a damn fool we need you to bowl and that need has been lacking. I have watched all series with concern.
I sincerely hope that is not his last action as an England player. |

Grey day. Another bowling day. Rain may miss but even if not I don’t think there will be long delays.
A brave man might bet on India here. There is a chance they may be batting tomorrow in sunshine. I might continue with the England lays and hope it rains on Monday! |
|
By:
Possible clear skies now and possible rain during the lunch break
|
|
By:
i didnt play my position too great , should have layed the draw when arond 2.7 . my position prior start yesterday was
india + 270 eng - 100 draw + 2143 this morning its india +346 eng +555 draw +1104 ps suppose im in a better overall position coz i cannot see this being a draw now , but scared to lay more on the draw especially at 4.8 , just in case, but i had really believed draw was certain , like haydn said was loving the rain yesterday until gills stupid run out, |
|
By:
Look like a good enough position to be in.
The rain now might come after lunch so you still might get a draw law in. Still hard to call. I think India’s seamers might get better help from the pitch than England. Sunny now! |

65 overs ball. Maybe England are in trouble

Yes it does look difficult out there. I think India will bowl better than England
All depends on conditions now |
|
By:
The deck looks a bit quicker today too
If Ind bowl anything like, the Eng batsmen will be in trouble |
|
By:
The tail have no chance on a deck like this
|
|
By:
Well done on your unders. I am an overs type of man but could not justify the India run line. It was I am sure over 400 at one point certainly above 375 which with foresight was crazy and in hindsight utter madness why did I not get involved?
|
|
By:
I'm an overs bettor normally
|
|
By:
India need to wake up quickly
A very poor first over |
|
By:
Peter Reid at the cricket again, on the sauce again
|
|
By:
Yes India have bowled poorly sometimes.
This is not going to be easy to bat on |
|

Was Ed Sheran at Old Trafford or was it a look alike?

is there a thicker co -commentator anyliser in sport other than Ebony

The difference between the two innings is remarkable
Well done the openers |
|
By:
2 quick wickets will wreck the exchange prices
Although India look clueless atm |
|
By:
This is real high risk, high reward batting & it is costing me a few quid!
