How does it work with Lyne's injury?
Can Aus use a sub? |
|
By:
No sub, ub. (except as fielder)

It is quite easy apt. When it is thatshort you only have to twist your left shoulder to the off side and the ball whizzes past. You then hum dum de dum de dum de dum while the fast bowler trudges back to his mark. It really p*sses them off and then they try and hurt you which makes it even easier to avoid but also easy hit because you know where it is heading. You can pull off the front foot line Ponting ( dangerous to your face ) or take a step to off with your back foot and help it on its way, rolling the wrists.
The only thing I would say is these guys are fast beyond our comprehension but the batsman get practice, we in our yoof never did. Look how good the little Indian batsmen are now against searing pace. It is just practice, confidence and courage. |

But Root did precisely that. As did Smith, really.
Rolled everything, looked super comfortable, even composed, then both didn't get over one and were gone for not many. |

If those two remarkable talents were found out, I understand why none of them have found the method.

Green drops a catch shocker!
I cannot see Duckett hanging around long. No foot movement at all! |

Middle two or three and we could be near parity

Thanks Aptdemon.

England also have had the best of cloud cover
|

By:
Agree, Aptdemon, this is 50/50

Happy to play Zak at poker.

Can anyone seriously think that England can score 360 when they couldn't in the first innings. One down as I write! Caught behind wafting leg side. Unforgivable. 50/1 England now.
|
|
By:
No-one can. 2/1 is an astonishing price.

was

By:
Agreed. Loaded to the max on Aussie's 1.5x. Prices are insane on them

Duckett don’t move his feet!
Phew but for for how long? |

Sneaked in a little punt that the ump was wrong there.
Feeling overly pleased with myself right now ![]() |

Starc's just showing off, now.
|
|
By:
Is there a market on England lasting until tomorrow?
|
|
By:
Not often the score (13/2) and the price (13/2) are identical

Tbf Starc is awesome it they really do need to get on the front foot to him
|

Glamorous Breeze just won at Windsor @ 13/2 !

joke performance by our bowlers miles behind this lot

I don’t care what anyone says this is one of the great Australian attacks currently without Lyon. We are playing on some pretty good modern Test pitches. They are up there.
Can’t really blame Brook. Very hard to get your feet moving early on. The number 5 should not be coming in during the 13th over. Baz that! |
|
By:
it was just the arrogance that they could play spazball against the number 1 side in the world
its certainly been entertaining - thats is you are an Australian - they havent stopped laughing ![]() |
|
By:
not sure they were laughing when they were 8 down @ Edgbaston to be fair...

Spot on Rothko
|
|
By:
the thing that gets lost on some is that the current Australian team are better than England...
|
|
By:
whether you play passively as we did on the last tour of Australia or a lot more aggressively they are still likely to beat you...
they have better batsman and bowlers on any measurable scale.. |
