I didn’t walk twice in my career and both times I hit it. When I was 11 an Umpire said not out before I could walk and the other time I just described.

I would love to bear the stump mike. Is there a button I can press?

there were a few clubs where you always got triggered for anything on the pads so felt like self prescribed justice to me

Only cup final I ever played (junior cricket). Report to be in the local newspaper.
In at number five, edged first ball to wicket keeper. Didn't walk and was given out. Not proud - one & only time I've 'cheated' at anything - glad I was given, reckon I'd still get the sweats to this day, writing that, if I hadn't been. |

snooker and pool I was pure as the driven snow...but quite happy to use the dark arts in cricket or football...though as I say a lot of that in cricket was related to some of the dodgy umps..

True Apt
But not sure I would walk in this day and age. If you ain’t cheating you ain’t trying! |

thought he was going to give that for a second...never out

Me too! I'd lumped on India and had myself some kittens when I heard that cheer from somewhere |
|
By:
India on the move?
|
|
By:
16 overs already from Rabada!
Elgar must be one tough thing hombre to tell him off! |
|
By:
unusual for Pant to give it away...

Ffs done all the hard work
Batting will be easier tomorrow. India need to thought i5 out still |
|

All talk about Kohli is henceforth banned!
|
|
By:
I might have been a little premature on my India back!
SA could quite easily get a lead in excess of 100 tomorrow Another great game in the making |
|
By:
think you are a bit unlucky WD...looked as good a time as any to be with them today...
|
|
By:
played some beauts today the V-rat
|

Slightly surprised Shami is eleven.
Also slightly surprised that the market moved as far as it did on that Kohli wicket. Ordinarily, understandable but not so much when it's the ninth. |

By:
random number generator in full effect at times today as it was in Sydney tbh..
|
|
By:
Happy to see it

which in theory is a good thing but can still catch you out badly...got rather nastily the wrong side of Eng the other day at one point..
|
|
By:
Didn't trade a bean until the final eight overs in Sydney - perhaps I missed out.
|
|
By:
Yup, it can definitely be dangerous if things conspire, too.
|
|
By:
well the Eng biggies had some legs though took a tour to even bigger climbs before over shortening ahead of and in the early throws of oz 2nd inns...4th inns was pick a number any number on Eng at various times with very limited logic...

SA will do well to get to close none down here.
They can't really get anywhere fast, either, so the lay here at 1.95 comes off more often than not. |
|
By:
1.93 even better

Lumpy read my script.

well I'm expecting a Markram score here so that should guarantee you an early wicket...

At risk of repeating myself, it's a blinking shame The Ashes hasn't been competitive like this!
Every day/session seems to have had some tension and debate over who's ahead. |
|
By:
will Elgar do ya ?

Was just contemplating doubling down at 2.6
The Limpet is the huge wicket. India can go through the rest like a dose of salts at any time. I would say the pitch should be ok tomorrow. The sun will be out. SA should be aiming to score at least 350 and that could be decisive. |
|
By:
SA could try and emulate The Engerland here 30-3 is still a possibility!
|
|
By:
Maharaj needs a dose of your salts, here.
Doing his nightwatchman job with aplomb. |
|
By:
Hammy?
Sorry don't like to be unsportsmanlike but I would not be upset if he has pulled up lame. Not sure about that. I think that might have been pre planned. The limp at the end looked most convincing but He did not really run fast or make an explosive move. Pretty sure he is putting it on. Smart cricket from him! |

Playing the game there! Ran 2

No problem ducking!

Still considering an India top up here. I wicket gets 3 imho McMaharaj is the Watchman, Markram is always vulnerable and if either goes Dussie will be vulnerable to the new ball although I still think it will bat well tomorrow.
|
|
By:
best not to leave those...

I refer my Honourable colleagues to the reply I Game some moments ago

Did he leave on length?
|

By:
jagged a fair bit in his defence...but if you keep changing where you take guard (as they featured) can't be easy to be certain of your off stump
