Looks like Aussie have big problems going into the final Test. Somebody has to tell Khawaja he ain’t playing
![]() |
By:
Nah he’ll play they can easily leave out Green or Head
I fancy the Aussies to get the wickets if we get the full days play |
By:
Blue Mountains always catch people out here. It rips those weather fronts apart.
By:
IF the rain comes from anywhere except North-West you can pretty much track it reliably on radar.
By:
Weather.com.au forecast (usually reasonably accurate) Passing Showers. Mostly Cloudy. Mild. Humid.
Bom not given there early update as yet..though again think a lot of luck involved in terms of disruption level.. in general to this point we've probably had a fair bit more play than the forecasts have suggested..but often by small margins.. |
By:
that sounds about right but the trajectory seems about 20-30 miles North of the ground for the wet stuff that defies the orographic effect.
By:
Cloudy. Medium (60%) chance of showers, becoming less likely in the early afternoon. The chance of a thunderstorm in the morning and early afternoon. Heavy rain which may lead to flash flooding possible along the coastal fringe this morning. Winds southerly 15 to 25 km/h tending southeasterly in the late afternoon then becoming light in the evening.
and the 4.45am Sydney forecast from BoM |

By:
I'm starting to think it's a big conspiracy how bad that site is for forecasting. We shouldn't have had anywhere near 100 overs so far according to them :D
By:
yep, they haven't been great but anything with storms and build ups from nowhere at times is a lot of guessing..
plenty of stuff going past North of Sydney at the moment as you referenced... |
By:
Market realisation finally. It's going to be really tough to bat under overcast conditions here.
By:
Think there will be blind panic when dark skies go north of the ground, then it will go the other way when it clears.
By:
Australia will fancy their chances in these conditions
Cummins and Starc with Lyon as the spin option will be hard to hold off here if the rain doesn’t arrive |
By:
What happened to Boland?
Likely hes a flash in the pan, seen it many times with his scenario playing out He’ll be gone in 6 months in my opinion |
By:
By:
It wouldn’t surprise me with this lot
7 batters 6 of them from catches behind most likely, 5 of them just nibbling at one a foot from the stump |
By:
So far nothing happening

By:
Cummins beat the bat there mind
By:
And now put one down again Carey

By:
should pouch those...having a pretty ordinary series...
By:
bit of rain heading in the general direction of the SCG...quite heavy stuff but marginal path currently
By:
Hameed is getting out soon again
Oh there it is... |
By:
very nice, always going to get plenty of chances against hameed.
By:
He goes nowhere in his innings and then is out on less than 20 every time
He wont be returning to the test side after this series youd think and hope |
By:
considering his career path they rather rushed him back..hasn't done him any favours
By:
gonna do well to miss some rain in the next hour or so though lunch may coincide...so depends how heavy as to relevance
By:
shame for Crawley..was playing really nicely there..
By:
Wickets just starting to tumble
By:
Doing the maths, that mess is going to hit close to the ground literally right at the end of lunch. This complicates things
By:
im watching that radar, i hope its right
By:
it will probably miss now
By:
which radar are you following Dan?
By:
https://www.weatherzone.com.au/radar/nsw/sydney
By:
should be hitting now
By:
missing the worst again...
By:
just a little delay or panic will do me
By:
Thanks Dan. Looks ominous.
By:
Raining on BT sports
By:
