This Aussie team isn’t event that great. It seems England moral looks poor. The only time they seemed to play really well was when Root was off the field in Adelaide. Maybe the players are not keen on playing well for him?! When he came back on they went to ****.

I don’t think Aussie are that great right now either. I think their batting is brittle, great 3 and 4 but the rest are suspect and the tail is long. Of course their first choice attack is magnificent but I would love to see SA rip into their batting order on their own pitches

I dont mind the Wood used in short bursts argument
But a lot of bowlers need an over to loosen up and need a longish spell to build up momentum and rhythm, 3 over short bursts might work it seems Wood is quick from ball 1 |

I was about to say why not just open with Malan cos the ball only ever 10 deliveries old when he comes to the crease anyway…then I see h’e’s left his bat in the hut And why did they change that damn rule for referrals where the ball had to be more than half a ball hitting? That wouldn’t have dislodged the bail |
