Abbas could have it going round corners here, would have a short mid off in about 15 yards from the bat.

I’m in Southampton right now and the rain looks like it’s settling in for a while. No breaks in the cloud, no wind.

I’m going to get asked to turn the tv off and engage either rest of the family in a minute.

This has been the cruelest of markets if you're on the wrong end of it, having to sit on your hands for 3 days and wait for betfair to settle.   This whole game will be a sporting Warning From History

hopefully it'll finally see things changed tho.

Losing 70 overs play dude to light is unacceptable.

Betting would still be alive if they played through that.

It's just changing the colour of the ball ffs

3rd Test Friday.... So with the ground so bad with the recent amount of rain and more heavy rain forecast every day except Thursday, do we think that any rain on Friday ( that again is forecast ) will cause further time delays once Fridays rain has cleared? Or will a free rain day on Thursday give the ground enough time to fully recover?

Just curious, is Root brave/mad enough for England to score 40 odd and then declare?

I like the look of Crawley particularly for Australia but it will be interesting to see him on the sub continent this winter.

I guess there is no point in England declaring as I would not give their batsmen time in the middle unless it goes cloudy to batter their confidence. Good chance for the England batsmen to get batting practice.

That's the worst aspect of gambling/trading. You spend days at it,
maybe turning a life-defining disaster into a miraculous near break-even situation and then
your partner expects you to justify the time spent at it with their killer question
"So you've been at that for five days - how much did you make?"

I'll be foraging for openings in the Bob Willis trophy tomorrow. Last 3 days of a test match and I never made a single bet/trade.

After truly being caught with my pants down in the last test losing 7k (previous worst in tests was 2.5k) I can't wait to get back to winning ways. No plan as of yet but will wait until after the toss before I make any moves. GL all.
