I view last weeks game as an absolute aberration.

Windies game declined the longer they were in the bubble, wondering if Pak are in the same boat.

Brutal Whizz but thankfully matches like that don't come round too often.

For test 3 - starter bet has to be a lay of England and take it from there

40 mph gusts can't be ideal for the pacers.

if there is any rain the strong winds will just blow it through

White seats in Southampton, red ones in Manchester. How daft is that when you are playing with a red ball!

Over rate solution. Award 6 runs to the batting side for every over below 14 at the end of each hour of play.

I’m still going but after £16k out last game might not chance more than £10k this one.

Problem as last time is that I laid quite a bit at significantly higher prices earlier!

Good call by England to bring in Archer for Curran I think. Tough on Curran as it may be tough on Woakes when Stokes comes back. I said it before they are both pretty good batsmen and would have done well to have practiced a little more. Woakes in particular showed how much class he has with he bat and I would hope he moves up the order at County or at least gets more time in the middle against genuine pace. Anderson may not make Australia but that should not stop Woakes improve his batting.

We need Factor X and Archer has it. Hopefully he wont be over bowled.

People just don’t believe wickets affect test matches sometimes. Haven’t got any lays off on that tiny bounce.

Oh PeckerLaugh!

Well! Huge chance for Crawley here. England need 3 openers until the Pope is ready to move up and I suspect Burns may well be the one to give way should that happen. The balance of the side is still a little awkward mainly because we do not have the highest kwality spinner. Going to the sub continent I think we shall need at least 2. I would rather play Moen than Bess and also take Adil Rashid to both SL / India and Australia if he will play. Leach has been hard done by imho.

Oh and Foakes is a shoe in for me right now behind the stumps! You know what I'm talkin' bout too!
