Just looked at the rules. If there is no more play in the game, Pakistan will fail to get 225. Worth a lay?
By:
I thought it was worth it. Like I said the odd chance that they might get bowled out or declare I believe it was worth it.

Your first post came up after I had posted mine. Great minds???? I am not that tempted as it will only take 2 overs for them to get the runs.

timmy is a dangerous hombre, "theres no rain around, lay the draw, the pitch is dry"

People laying the weather weren't necessarily wrong. The light fkd everyone
That and the complete lack of preperation, planning, due diligence and willingness to play cricket by the powers that be. |

Timmy is a shifty lad. Now I trust ayt more than I trust him.
Yes sageform I have a great mind. |

Is it possible for them to call off the game tomorrow afternoon looking at Mondays weather? Or do they have to follow the protocol and wait till the final session?
By:
they can call it a draw whenever they want I think, dont see why they couldnt

My brain has thought up another scenario of the Pkistanis getting rich.
How about they decide to make it a one innings game to produce a result? I mean we are living in strange times and to promote this beautiful format and please the lively fans they decide to add some excitement? What if they are laying the draw right now? Am I crazy? |

Has anyone done that since Hansie Cronje?

No. But like I said it could easily be justified in the name of entertainment in difficult times.
By:
They might if it was a dead rubber. I'd be most surprised if they did it here though, albeit very pleasantly surprised.

Inspection @ 5:15 PM - who do they think they are kidding?
![]() |
By:
I'm sure they won't bother cleaning up tomorrow as well. My 225 lay could very well rescue me
By:
Fk me I thought today was already over. They're still having an inspection.

ive had over 8 bets with365 runs between 210 and 223, all been paid, but ive a lay here of 225, so would be lovely for them to declare etc

could start a 30 over match in the north now, light and sunny, has it been pissing it down south or something

This market has highlighted the dangers of *averaging down* more than any I can remember. Though apparently when I was asleep draw did spike to 1.37 so some draw layers may have escaped Houdini style.

there was no better player for me than alex for going up and down through the baulk colours. of course it could be said why did he need to do that if he was such a great player, but he was fantastic in doing that.
By:
The only reason for declaring would be if a draw is nailed on and they are trying to avoid injury to a bowler from a bouncer. If they don't start until 3pm or later it's possible, although Rizwan is farming the strike and is currently on strike.
