oh not sure if you have heard this but Steve Bunce tells the story that on the day of the fight Wepner bought his Mrs some lingerie and told her to put it on because tonight she was going to be sleeping with the Heavyweight Champion of the World. Anyway after the fight Wepner all battered and bruised stumbled into the hotel room ( probably had a few beers too ). The Mrs is lying on the bed looking sexy in her new lingerie and casually says to Wepner what time is the Champ coming
