NZ available to lay at 3.8 shortly after stumps, I suppose weather related drift.

a decent two days trading !! how on earth was the draw available to back at 11s when Lanka batted to lunch without losing any wickets and with a poor forecast for day 5 on a flat deck.
By:
Fats, you could have woken up this morning with very little, you traded well indeed and have no regrets !! i cashed out laying the draw odds against and very happy with that.
By:
why is draw still 1.3? SL need to bat out two sessions. they still have chandi and dickwela to come. NZ last took a wicket Sunday evening.

At this state the weather looks ok. Forecast for rain later in the day. Where I live 40km north of Wellington it is raining right now but its coming from the south. Draw out to 1.27

If SL pull this off it must go down as one of the greatest escapes.

I am still actively involved.

By:
rare enough to go through a whole day without losing a wicket let alone on day 4
By:
the pitch was so flat yesterday, can not remember one so easy to bat on after day one !!
By:
Looking bright towards the South they just said on the radio. But I still think rain is on the way. Rain radar starting to look more active than an hour ago.

Haha NZ tab has draw at 1.05. But they have NZ at 5.00. What a bunch of ****
By:
raining lightly at the Basin reserve right now.
By:
heavy covers are on, still raining, but bit brighter. Think its going to be an on off day. Maybe 20 overs? if we are luck.
By:
I cannot believe the draw is still available at 1.18. Even if we have 30 overs, Sl would have to be bowled out in 25 for there to be a result. That seems a tall order after what I witnessed yesterday. I guess one wicket may be enough to set the ball in motion and that is what draw layers are banking on? Met still expects southerly with a bit of rain around midday.
By:
new band coming through in about 20-30 mins by the look on the radar.
By:
Scott Styris just said that its going to take 1.5 hours to get the ground ready for play once the rain stops. That is a surprise to me as the Basin is a good draining groung. Looks like a train to 1.01.
By:
umpires are out in the middles, the tractor is pulling a rope around the ground and the covers are being released of their water. Skies are cloudy but its not raining.
By:
play to start at 12.30
By:
covers are off, all covers are off, players are getting ready to come out. Not sure on session times yet.
By:
But play to get underway in about 35 mins
